Sketches On Silence is an experimental ambient drone EP

this piece isn’t about any event in particular. Nothing special happened a year ago today, but that was when I recorded the central chord structure, close to midnight in July of 2016, and let it drift into the past, unfinished, un-listened-to until today. Stumbling across this recording was unsettling because it reminds me how frequently we encounter fantastic things and fail to meet them, to integrate them into our lives. Living in anticipation of the sublime, the unforseen imposition of the other onto mundane life, carries the pretext of our being able to adequately respond; this piece has something to do with the realization that I am not always able to. I'm trying to accept that.

808illusion is a 18 years old ukrainian producer/intsrumental artist based in Germany. He had produced a plenty of songs for underground trap scene, including artists such ad Duwap Kaine and Jripey. 
Since started consciously listen to music 808illusion was deeply inspired by Cloud Rap, especially by artists as Yung Lean, Bones, $uicideboy$ etc. and all the characteristic features of this genre (airy-ambient pads and synths, increased reverb, textures and atmposphere). He sees the direct influence of this particular genre on his current preferences in music. After the realization that producing music for other artists is not the right way to make music and express himself through it he decided to focus on his own projects.
