Tim Green turns in a truly epic remix, equally suited for the late night dancefloors as well as the desert expanse. And Patlac takes things in a dubby, twisted direction.

✪ BIOGRAPHY
He’s the one of the key producers behind the Acid Techno sound hailing from London in the late 1990’s and owner of one of the best known underground techno labels in the world, Hydraulix. Since 1997 Dave has been DJ’ing all over the world playing great tracks, both new and old, from his vast catalog of techno music.

His recent remix and production work on labels such as: Reklusive, Elektrax, Naked Lunch, Phobiq and of course Hydraulix, have picked up much attention from some of the worlds top techno DJ’s and often turn up in many of their tracklists.

Dave plays the style of techno that he is currently producing which focuses on the new sound of techno as it is today. The sounds is roughly around the 130 bpm speed and incorporates a lot of Dave’s latest work and new releases from associated artists and labels. Please check his soundcloud page if you are unclear about what that is. He does play occasional “Old Skool” sets which will incorporate some Acid Techno hits, but these must be arranged in advance. Dave is very much trying to push the sound of his productions and Label Hydraulix, so will not appreciate being asked to only play old classic tracks from 20 years ago without some agreement in advance.

He plays using Traktor Scratch with vinyl control, and has taken his sound all over the world. recent gigs include Glastonbury, Brasil, France and Italy.

The Label Hydraulix is now distributed via Labelworx and the release schedule is filling up with great new releases, plus there is soon to be some Vinyl on the way.

Octave One announce their new album under the much loved Random Noise Generation guise. The first RNG release was 'Falling in Dub' in 1991 and sounding just as fresh 27 years later, ‘Endustry’ is due for release this spring. 

Something of a new take on their creative process the Burden brothers made most of this music on the road while they toured over the past year, using the country they were in at each time they recorded to influence and inspire each track. “We were tucked away in so many hotel rooms that we decided to make sure we brought enough extra equipment so that we could set up a true lab to create from country to country and make the grooves that we wanted to experiment with on the dance floor.” comments Lawrence.

This body of work encompasses 7 full length cuts, naturally all with that classic Octave One emotion. “'Alkaylze', more than any of tracks on this project, embraced the original spirit of Random Noise Generation in so much as the “machine” seemed to be really guide the creative process.” Adds Lenny “Much of the foundation of the composition was very accidental, but inspirational, with various musical devices interpreting data in a very unexpected results. It actually came together quite quickly but things just fell into place so naturally.” 

After touring and making music for decades the spirit and essential energy of the craft is what keeps them eternally inspired to keep creating and touring the globe… ”Once it takes hold of you you can’t stop even if you wanted to.” says the pair, and so 'Endustry' is born.

French techno titan POPOF is back on his own FORM Music label with another essential EP. This time he packs a real punch across three fresh new tracks designed to make a massive impact.  

Bowo is the brain frying opener, with hard hitting drums and huge, frazzled synth lines spraying about the mix. It’s filled with tension and builds to an enthralling high before a breakdown resets the mood and the drums roll again to devastating effect. 

The Striker then gets more wild, with big drum loops rocking back and forth with drilling sub bass and sci-fi lasers shooting across the face of the track. It’s sure to fill any big room or warehouse with real intensity. 

Last of all is the monstrous W.T.A., with manic acid lines spraying about above rolling drums. Icy hi hats add to the groove which is one designed to carry the floor late into the night with a genuine sense of mischief. 

These are three more prime dance floor weapons from a real master of his art.

For its 303rd release, Tresor Records is glad to present a commissioned work by Donato Dozzy.

Rome based production maestro and DJ extraordinaire Donato Dozzy is unanimously considered as an illustrious leading light in all techno artforms.

Along his long career and extensive discography, Dozzy has proven to use his instruments in most interesting ways, always re-inventing his music, always presenting new approaches to both the deeper and the more rhythmic forms of electronic music. It was self-evident to Tresor Records to enroll Donato Dozzy’s talents for this assignment, a nod to the seminal Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer.

The result is a relentless collection of radical, propulsive and bleeding-heart acid tracks.

Donato Dozzy wishes to dedicate this work to his lifelong friend Filo.

Tresor.303 releases July 13th on 2 x 12” vinyl and digital.
