Born in Buenos Aires in 1979, Gonzalo Blaya is a producer, musician, and DJ whose work traces an invisible line between darkness, sonic elegance, and a futuristic pulse that defies conventions. His relationship with electronic music—shaped within the vibrant countercultural scene of the 90s—fuses the rebellious essence of punk and new wave with the emotional sophistication of synthesized sounds, later refined by the influence of post-punk and dark wave.

Among the remixers is Leo Portela, fundamental to the growth of electronic music in Argentina, with an impeccable version of “Malware.” The remix of “Italo Affair” was done by Fran Di Gianni, another key figure in the national electronic scene and a founding member of the legendary Club Rayo.

Logia Records concludes a formidable year with "Various Artists Vol. V," a compilation honouring five years of constant motion. This anthology crystallises the label's contemporary identity through an international array of voices. The eleven tracks include works from Ruidoso, Diskontrol (SXDNS254) & Rudo, Melina Genchi, Poulper (SXDNS146) & Stylic, Cali Burton & Ramiro Jota, and ANDRO, to name a few. Their collective contributions form a vibrant mosaic, echoing twelve months of artistic expansion and communal celebration. The VA is a dynamic document of Logia's ethos, weaving together divergent styles from intense Dark Disco to hearty Indie Dance. It reflects a period where boundary-pushing rhythms and shared passion have defined the imprint's path.

Premiered here, Ruidoso’s “El INDIoTECH” erupts from Buenos Aires with a sly, infectious energy. Crafted for the peak hour, its architecture rests on a bustling, intricate drum foundation that dances with precise disorder. A bouncing bassline supplies a slippery, undulating groove, propelling the entire arrangement forward with irresistible momentum. Layers of percussion – a rich tapestry of clicks, claps, and shimmering details – rain down, constructing a mesmerising, frenzied web. This is functional, grinning funk designed to command the body and captivate the mind. On the compilation, it delivers an electric surge, affirming Ruidoso’s distinct voice. The track reshapes its surroundings through detailed, agile production, emphasising Logia’s dedication to inventive, physical dance music.
