Listen to the tones of this short instrumental piano piece, where the keys resonate in a modified version of 15 equal temperament. 15 equal temperament has the clear and soothing 320-cent minor third, offering a peaceful respite amidst the sadness. Also pay attention to the passing 970-cent septimal minor seventh notes, which I modified the tuning from the 960 cents to weave this memory-evoking, bittersweet interval into the piece.

As the melody proceeds at 90 BPM, each note stretches out in time, inviting introspection and reflection. The piece resolves with a major chord in C, consisting of the familiar 400-cent major third and 725 cents fifth, creating a sense of closure and resolution, and marking a comfortable moment.
