In addition, it is the first live recording of the band: now there are five of them blending neo rhythm and blues, Future soul, hip-hop and jazz using live instruments, drum machines and vintage synthesizers.

‘HERE WITH YOU’ see’s THE LAYABOUTS turn up the pressure even further with a beautiful collaboration with one of the darling’s of the UK’s urban scene, TERRI WALKER.    

Just to throw in an extra bonus, we got one of house music current heroes, MOWGLI to put his stamp of authority onto the release.

THE LAYABOUTS – ‘FUTURE RETRO’ will be released in August 2012 and features new collaborations with OMAR, TONY MOMRELLE, PORTIA MONIQUE, IMAANI, TERRI WALKER & KOF.
