'Bird Tool' traverses a range of genre and BPM ranges in typical CF fashion, from the 140-influenced stylings of ‘Volume 3’, to the mutant halftime rhythms of title track ‘Bird Tool’ and ‘End Credits’ - exploring a tempo range that’s become a popular fixture of UK club music in recent years. The album begins with Wave Wave with its uplifting bass arpeggio, followed by Martian with its unique breaks and organic vibes. The title track, Flat W, showcases an even kick, and closes with Bug Bait, one of the most functional DJ tools on the album, with precise programming and sound design backed by Drum'n'Bass' experience. The ultimate club tool has been completed.
