In 1968, Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior and others called for a “revolution of values” in the United States. They began building a movement that brought together poor and impacted communities across the nation. Today, the Poor People’s Campaign confronts systematic racism, poverty, ecological devastation, militarism, the war economy, and the moral narrative of religious nationalism. They are marching in Washington D.C. on June 29th.
