In the hearts, minds and souls of house and techno fans, there is one place that represents our culture above all else. The Balearic island of Ibiza; it is the spiritual home of rave and party hedonism and is a special place for the Deeperfect family as well. To celebrate the 2017 season we asked our good friends Neverdogs to compile and curate a selection of music that epitomises the Ibiza party season and captures the vibe of the white island.
Our Florentian brothers, Neverdogs, are no strangers to the label and have contributed a stack of banging tech house cuts to our discography over the past few years. With a heavy tour schedule and releases on top labels like Moan, Roush, Materialism and many more, we knew that there were no safer hands to trust with this special mix.
The Italian duo have compiled a musical journey that could be taken directly from the dancefloor of Ibiza’s top clubs. The duo have crafted a number of original tracks to be included, as well as contributing collaborative material with Manu Gonzalez and Sebastian Ledher respectively. Additionally they have tirelessly sourced music from a wide range of artists to round out the 19 tracks including exclusive material from Drastic Duo, Emery Waman and Guymac, Matteo Gatti, Paul C and Vincenzo D'Amico and many more.

With a career spanning more than a decade, Leonardo’s DJ career started in Florence in 2001, and was heavily influenced by the acid-house and Detroit techno scenes that stormed the 90s. His dynamic and innovative approach to making music has captured the attention of high profile artists such as Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Adam Bayer, Marco Carola, Sven Vath, Dubfire and many others. 

He has released  with some of the most important labels in the underground scene such as Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It imprint, Get Physical Music, Viva Music, 20/20 Vision and Hot Since82’s Knee Deep In Sound imprint.

Here he makes his Circus Recordings debut, with a super cool, understated, straight up groove, no unnecessary over production, this one is for the heads...
The release comes as an Italian trio, with Stefano Noferini and The Mekanism making their Circus debuts too.

German groove master Christian Burkhardt returns to Hottrax with another essential release entitled ‘Wrecking EP’ featuring three stripped back cuts. 
 
Burkhardt is in a real purple patch of form right now, with big collaborative releases on Do Not Sleep, Leftroom and Celesta. Always cooking up fresh new minimal house sounds that are expertly produced, he blends dance floor clout with plenty of cinematic sound design and does that again here. 
 
The brilliant ‘Wrecking Loop’ opens things with a mangled bassline and twisted synths that contorting around each other to trippy, hypnotic effect. It’s a freaky afterparty vibe to melt minds, then ‘Bass Love’ locks you in a bulbous bass loop as smartly treated vocals bring soul and diva attitude. It’s a pumping, full fat cut designed to make you sweat. Finishing off a superb EP is ‘Swiffer’, this tie with unresolved loops of knotted, rasping bass, melting vocals and loose percussion that are perfect for cosy back room sessions.

Turkish producer Onur Ozman debuts on Hottrax this December with ‘At Spoerri’s EP’, alongside 
a remix from NO ART founders ANOTR. 
Originating from the Istanbul electronic music scene, the Zurich-based artist adds to his busy schedule 
of releases this year by debuting on Jamie Jones’ offshoot. Having previously released on Constant 
Circles, Sincopat and Kwench Records, Onur brings his delicate and emotive production to the forefront 
while Amsterdam based duo ANOTR deliver a remix. 
 
‘At Spoerri's’ opens with atmospheric rain samples and chimes, a cantering drum pattern and melodic 
stabs before ‘KMIYH’ follows with pitched toms, snappy chords and an infectious vocal loop. Next, 
‘Warhol’ takes a hip-hop influence with crunchy snares, doubling kicks and fluttering keys, until finally 
ANOTR’s remix of ‘At Spoerri's’ then elevates the energy by separating a rolling bass line on two 
octaves, working in tight hi-hats and beat repeating the synths.
