Our next release is an EP from Janis Blume, who has already been part on one of our compilations. The artist from Leipzig has been on our radar since his first live set 3 years ago and we are happy to present you an EP with him. In addition, remixes are coming by @zuma_dionys from Russia and French born @lopalmusic who appear on down. for the first time. The result are four tracks which all transfer a different mood of downtempo music. We are super happy with the outcome of this release and are in love with the tracks. "The name "Bodaishin" comes from the Buddhist philosophical idea that predominates in my thoughts, actions and feelings. It means awakening of spiritual consciousness. He try to show this idea in his music every day. Creating in shows and productions something that make you feel, think, and awake about anything.

Influenced by several genres, He doesn't like to limit myself to a single genre, and he try to mix as much as in his presentations as his productions, organic sounds with modern synthesizers, creating an atmosphere full of deep and melodic vibes, enveloping you in a unique journey . 

Just this last year, Bodaishin has performed in Argentina, Uruguay, Andorra, Turkey, Serbia and Russia, sharing the decks with renowned worldwide artists like Facundo Mohrr, Voleen Sentir, Jelly For The Babies amongst others. He Launched this year his own Podcasts series called "Circle Of Life", who is transmitted every month by Deeper Sounds with amazing guest mixes.

Also, Bodaishin’s productions have been gaining strength on Beatport and his music has been supported by excellent artists like Kora, Jota Karloza, Goldcap, DoubleTouch, DSF, Erdi Irmak, Behrouz, Sahar Z and others.

Continuing the much welcomed celebration of Poker Flat’s 20 years in the business, another classic from the back catalogue gets the remix treatment. 

Originally released in 2005, Love Dose was the first release on Poker Flat by the then rising star, Argy. 

The greek born Argyris Theofilis would go on to become a major player in the scene, and it’s not hard to hear why with Love Dose - a subtle and hypnotic track with evocative vocals in Spanish by Valeria. 

In the hands of German producer  and Poker Flat regular Tim Engelhardt, the track gets a new lease of life - the edges get sharpened and the rhythm a little tighter, while the balearic, acidic influences continue to shine through. Music for a sunrise in Ibiza, then and now.
