​German electro pair Digitalism are currently busy finishing their third album, but before that they've got new single 'Roller' coming out. 

It's hard to believe their debut album, 'Idealism', is eight-years-old, but those early tracks like 'Zdarlight' and 'Pogo' still sound just as electrifying as they did then. Second album, 'I Love You Dude', came in 2011 and last year they provided us with a destructive In Session. 

'Roller' kind of falls under the category of destruction, too, and the inclusion of Hotflush associates Dense & Pika with remix only strengthens that.

Magician On Duty proudly presents Losers Arcade, the mesmerizing new EP from NUVEM (@nuvemduo), a live electronic duo whose evocative blend of darkness and beauty has been quietly reshaping the contours of the underground scene.

Formed in 2022 by Maya Gonçalves (FR/PT) and Dario Esposito (IT), NUVEM has been traversing Europe’s creative hubs—France, Italy, and Germany—collecting fragments of emotion, rhythm, and texture to craft a sound that moves fluidly between dancefloor melancholy and dark indie dance. Their music merges somber synths, pulsing basslines, and ethereal vocals, weaving intimate narratives that feel both cinematic and visceral.

Their latest offering, Losers Arcade, unfolds like a nocturnal odyssey through shadow and light. The title track welcomes listeners into a dark, hypnotic atmosphere—a dimly lit club where haunting vocals echo among writhing silhouettes, carried by monumental synths and a magnetic sense of tension.

The journey continues with 13, a ritualistic, dark disco invocation. Driven by wild percussions and a spellbinding groove, the track conjures an almost supernatural energy—whispers of witchcraft layered atop a hypnotic bassline, inviting the listener to surrender to its mysterious rhythm.

As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

CONCEPT. is the new baby established by the already international well known artist agency My Favourite Freaks, which consists of a four part and monthly released series starting in December 2015. All tracks will be out on vinyl and only for real and freaky club boyz and party girlz. International celebrated artists of the agency collaborated to create such a big collector’s item.

Last but not least it’s time to finish the CONCEPT. series with the fourth vinyl release and again with big names of the music producer scene.

Rhadow creates the first track of the A side. Belong is the name of the tune, which starts with deep sounding kick drums and a deep, groovy bass line. The track is like a DJ tool and with the vocal phrases it tries to drill into your brain. Rhadow made a huge arrangement for a more techno driven house track.

Arjun Vagale isn’t a no-name at the techno scene anymore and he is well known for his surprising and always working music, he is creating in his studio and en route from gig to gig. Just as he has done Patterns. Instrument sample loops and fast beats, mixed with sample cuts and a lot of effects, build up to the climax, until the track explodes for the listeners on the dance floor.

Now it gets more techno driven. It’s Ramiro Lopez’ turn. Mystical synthesizer leads, bass lines and vocal cuts with delay effects are being hammered into your head with his booming kick drum. Hihats are forming the main groove of the track. Head banging is always welcome when listening to Ramiro Lopez Paradise!

With the last title of the Vinyl named Herd, it goes darker. The track made by Rafa Barrios has got a huge hihat and percussion overhead groove sitting over a pumping kick and bass line, running until the quite break down. A build up evolves, until… OH YES! Hands up and keep on dancing!

Picking up right where EP #1 left off, EP #2 kicks things off with a bang. First up is Catz ’N Dogz and Yotam Avni's for ‘Blakkat’; a high pace burner ideally suited for dance floors from Panoramabar to under the LED’s of Watergate and every club in-between. 

The duo return with the 'Bright Mix’ of ‘Afterglow’ for the second cut on EP 2 and aptly titled, it pushes an intense, glitter filled ride to it’s limits. 

Embarking onto the B-side, 'O.A.Peas’ from heavy hitter Eats Everything & Lord Leopard take a trip down memory lane with a heavily sample based feel good tune that will absolutely demolish dance floors worldwide. 

Rounding out the EP is a final collaboration between Catz ’N Dogz and Reno Wurzbacher with ‘To Ma People’ and it’s by far the smoothest and most laid back tune of the bundle, but never does it let you rest as a mesmerizing groove and lush atmospherics tell a deep, complex tale of late nights and early mornings.

Right after it followed a real killer track on Sante’s and Sidney Charles Label Avotre. Now we are proud to announce officially that Matt and his partner Kevin Anderson will release a 3 Track EP on our imprint. In addition, this one is just the beginning of a hopefully long lasting relationship.

„Pillslut“is a real playful and freaky track. Because of its complexness, it doesn’t let you go anymore. On the Road Test „Pillslut” was always the highlight of the night, a real dancefloor bomb!

„The Freaks Come Out At Night”is a track, like made for us. Not only that this is also the title of some of our showcases, in general its groove and playful bassline will make you dance all night long.

The last but not least track „Needy” is creating a really dark, but still groovy atmosphere, which keep you moving and moving and moving.

Matt Ossentjuk & Kevin Anderson - Pillslut

Ellum Audio welcomes impressive new school talent Raxon for four suitably cosmic techno tracks.

Raxon hails from Egypt, is Barcelona based and has risen through the ranks with a well-crafted and emotive techno sound on labels like Diynamic, Kompakt, Cocoon and more. This summer he has been playing the revered Resistance Ibiza at Privilege as well as festivals like DGTL. Though he has made big moves in recent years, Raxon has been deeply involved in the scene for more than two decades.

Opener ‘Andromena’ is a tense and futuristic groove that keeps you in suspense. Synths and chords ride up and down the scales without resolving and will make for a rapturous effect in the clubs. 

The superb ‘Vortex Cortex’ is stripped back, driving techno with a sleek bassline and sci-fi sounds making it all the more cinematic. The whole track feels like it is going to take off and carry you away to the stars.

After the scene-setting ambience of ‘Introspect’ - a short and atmospheric interlude with more cosmic sounds, pulses and sonar blips - the excellent ‘Second Contact’ closes things out. A dark and prickly jam with expertly programmed drums that are broken and punchy, this one is about creating real intergalactic energy and is does that in style.

This is Raxon’s most accomplished EP yet, and as such is perfectly at home on the mighty Ellum Audio.
