ℹ️ | Bay 6 Recordings present the fourth edition of their compilation series Back to Bay 6, Vol.4. Much like the  previous records, the label aims to introduce fresh talent alongside their existent roster. Artists such as  Artsea, Beeson, Natus, and vocalist Aleya Mae contribute tracks alongside long-standing Bay 6 artists like  Colossus and Fearbace, as well as recent signees Option and AUDBL. The result is a rich take on drum &  bass, where artists are given the freedom to build upon the foundations of the genre.

Artsea's 'Summer's End' opens the record. Serenity is the atmosphere here, as the track leads with a gentle  piano riff. Modulated pads and driving percussion play out in the background, recalling the rise and fall of  waves crashing against the rocks. 

Colossus and Aleya Mae contribute 'Flight Patterns'. Technical drum programming, spherical synth  patterns and deep bass lines create a stirring base from which Aleya Mae delivers a soaring vocal full of extended harmonies. Texturally, the track is detailed, a dense combination of sounds designed to evoke  the deepest feelings. 

Elsewhere, AUDBL's 'Night’s Embrace' features undulating motifs and finely layered melody work lower in  the mix; Beeson's 'Cindy Stop It' is a minimal symphony defined by a gripping intro, and 'Find My Way' sees  Fearbace and Natus deliver a poignant take on drum & bass. 

Option's 'Prying Eyes' closes out the record. Perhaps the most club-ready track on the compilation, it's skittering drums take hold on the brain like a liquid symbiote, while nimble melodies and cavernous bass add the decoration.

Andrew Bobson, znany również jako Bobson, jest Dj-em i producentem muzycznym specjalizującym się w gatunku drum and bass. Pochodzi z Łodzi, gdzie od 1999 roku zafascynowany elektroniczną muzyką, odkrył swój talent i pasję. Inspirowany starymi dobrymi brzmieniami DNB i Old Skool, zaczął eksperymentować z produkcją muzyczną, rozwijając swoje umiejętności od prostych bitów do bardziej zaawansowanych kompozycji. 
Na scenie drum and bassowej pojawił się w 2012 roku, debiutując jako MC na lokalnej imprezie w Łodzi. Jego oficjalny debiut jako DJ miał miejsce dwa lata później na festiwalu Nagle Nad Morzem. 
Bobson preferuje przełamywanie konwencji w swoich produkcjach i setach, eksplorując różnorodne style, takie jak deep, experimental, techfunk i techstep. Jego charakterystyczny styl cechuje się głęboką minimalistyczną estetyką i technicznym podejściem.
Współpracując ze szczecińskimi kolegami z "RaveRiver" i "Come With Us", Bobson był współtwórcą cyklu wydarzeń muzycznych "We Bring You Back The Sound" oraz miejskiego festiwalu elektronicznego "Come with Us festival". W 2020 roku dołączył również do ekipy "Hidden Noises", rozpoczynając równocześnie swoją karierę producencką. Jego utwory "Termite" i "Disaster of catacomb" znalazły się na jego solowym EP wydanym przez Neurofunk Society of Poland. Kilka miesięcy później jego utwór "Advanced Noises" został uwzględniony na albumie Various Artists [2015 - 2020].
W 2021 roku Bobson rozpoczął współpracę z Breaky Vibes Recordings [BVR], debiutując z EP "Materia". Jeden z utworów z tego wydawnictwa, "Disapear", został premierowo opublikowany na brytyjskim kanale DNB DOJO i spotkał się z pozytywnym odbiorem.
W secie dla Bitej Godziny, Bobson zaprezentuje również swoje wydane kawałki jak i te nie wydane.
