So I came across soupery's comic on tumblr and was really moved by it, and I got the idea of mashing up Hopes and Dreams with the song that went with it, The Call by Regina Spektor. I also added references to character themes all through the track but it was hell to compose because it was too much for my computer to handle at the chorus XDDD

"Long ago, we were not a kingdom of malice or harm. We were a people true to helping others and being accepting to others. However, one day, when the humans claimed more and more of our territory. As their king, I was angered by their attempt to steal our land. So in our sheer stupidity and anger, we mounted a brutal attack upon the humans of the surface. While the monsters stayed strong, endless human lives were lost. As a result, many of us consumed souls and became unholy beasts, bringing nothing less than absolute chaotic destruction upon the surface. The more souls we collected, the easier it became. We relentlessly slaughtered and absorbed them in the thousands. Eventually, when the humans were almost slaughtered, erased from the surface, of the few that remained, some gathered to cast a magic spell on all monsters, sealing them all underground. Not only did this seal our fate but it freed the human souls from the sickening monsters trapping them. I was so angered that I wanted revenge. But I had no humans to take out that anger on. So, in my foolishness, I took out my cruelty on the common people, the royal administration, my wife. My sons.. My son, Asriel hated me so much that he had the desire to inflict such pain on to others. However, my adopted child, a mere human was the kindest, sweetest individual I've ever met. He would always cook with Toriel, care for Asriel when he was crying in distress. Chara spent as much time as they could with us, their family and they also treated the other monsters with acceptance, mercy and respect. It was only then that I realized how immature I was because it was my child that I looked up to. But that all changed one day when I heard Chara screaming and crying in a horrid, decadent manner.  Right before my eyes, I could see Asriel butchering Chara with a knife. Ever since the surface war, never have I been so terrified, so angered, so disgusted. I kicked Asriel and he rolled and stumbled into a corner. It was too late, Chara was dying. What he said next put me in a never ending trauma. He said '..I love you, Dad. Please, take care of my family, and be kind. I'm sorry.' And just like that, he was gone. I tried to find Asriel but being overridden with grief, he fled our home, took Chara's human soul and fled to the surface. They say that up there, he likely died from a relentless fight. Not only that, Toriel had become so disgusted with my actions that she tried to kill me for not stopping them sooner. She hacked and slashed at me with kitchen knives and cursed blazes of fire. After fending myself for hours, she finally left and ever since, I never saw her again. Since then, my kingdom continued to deteriorate and violence ran rampant in the Underground. If only I would have done things differently..."

I wish I had gotten into it much earlier as there's so many good pieces of music hidden behind 8bit blips and blops. I tried to keep faithful while adding a little of my own style.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore I, the Incomplete/Flawed Pacifist ending, details an ending in which everyone (except for Asgore) was spared and befriended. Toriel has taken her ex-husband's place, ruling the Underground with both strictness and kindness. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends.

Not much has changed in Temmie Village, except it has expanded. It's bigger now than it used to be. I'd say it's more advanced, but Temmie has a different definition of "advanced" than we do.
