Our first public DJ set at the 'Sunday Trance Tea Bar' event, hosted at https://soundcloud.com/waldfrieden-events in Stemwede, was an electrifying journey into the realm of progressive psychedelic trance. We basically played our home turf music where we're most at ease and where we felt that it would fit nicely on a sunday evening in a more relaxed setting. The set began with a tasty 140 BPM and gradually increased to a delicious 144 BPM, sprinkled with uplifting parts and then served with some spacey sounds and bouncy basslines. 

We are very grateful for this remarkable opportunity to showcase our love for music. The atmosphere at the 'Sunday Trance Tea Bar' was magical, filled with an engaging and enthusiastic crowd whose shouts and energy made our experience unforgettable. This set was not just a performance but a shared experience with everyone there.

A heartfelt thanks goes to Tobi, whose faith in us led to this booking, Fabian, whose assistance in setting up our equipment was invaluable, and Florian, for the thoughtful gift of the Waldfrieden Lighters. These gestures of support have left a lasting impression.

Playing at such a vibrant venue, with a crowd so in tune with our music, has been a dream come true. We hope to return to Waldfrieden Events soon! Until next time!

Intrinsic Gathering Live Mix October 2024 126bpm

Well, this one has me a little lost for words! Here is my contribution to this years Intrinsic Gathering! And what a gathering it was! I couldn't have been more honoured to be handed the stage from one of the greats of our scene, Shammie AKA Pspiralife/Aaralku and from that moment onward, I have never felt so connected to a dancefloor. Thanks to all who stuck it out through the rain and wind! I honestly thought as the rain got heavier before I stood up to the decks that most would flee the wet but barely a soul left the dancefloor and I couldn't be more grateful and full of joy. As the rain fell through the sheets of lasers it was like the dancefloor was shrouded in a blanket of coloured glitter and it created the most magical atmosphere. One that can only be experienced by withstanding the cold and the wet hinting at the duality of life its-self. Amongst the hardships in life there is beauty to be found and in this moment, we experienced something truly magical, I hope you all feel it too!

This set aside, thanks to all who attended and contributed to this truly special event! It was transformative for me to say the least and I'm so excited to see what the year ahead has in store. Bring on the next one!! Much love to you all!!

Anomaly is the full-on and progressive-psy project of Ballarat born, Brodie Foster.
He was raised in the town of Beaufort by his Rainbow-serpent-loving parents
and has attended the festival since he was very young.
It came to him organically to be involved in the scene as his love for Australian bushland
and psytrance started from such a young age.

After spending most of his time being a punter, he’s about to turn the tables and offer his heart within his musical expression to those who seek to be mesmerised.

This flourishing cultural scene has been instrumental in his growth as a music producer, DJ, and artist.

Bufo has steadily risen through Melbourne’s vibrant electronic music scene, performing at events such as Esoteric Festival, Intrinsic Gathering, Golden Phoenix, Australiens Collective, Melburner's Shipwrecked, Pirainia, Magic Garden Festival, Paradise Plains, Confest, Underland's The Yard, The Tuna Factory, and Rumpus Room.
