Nebu Mitte (Spain)

Solitary deserts, transcendent mosaics & Persian rose-scented gardens are some of the vivid images that Nebu Mitte invokes. A contemporary nomad who shares his time between Madrid, Berlin and Ibiza. A musical magic carpet capable of transporting us to mythical faraway lands.

In Madrid, he is currently one of the most active DJ's in the electronic scene, he has been part of some of the best projects nationwide, and he has gone through the best clubs and parties, being a resident DJ of some of the most important.

In 2012 he moved to Berlin, where in a short time he made a slot in the electronic scene, and start to play in some of the most popular clubs; Goldengate, Arena, Brunen70, Katerholzing, Ritter Butzke, Birgit & Bier, and the famous Berlin Fashion Week 2013.

Since 2009 we can see every summer at different parties on Ibiza. Some of its most outstanding DJ residences would be; L'Elephant in 2012, Bora Bora, or Lips Beach Club in 2013, Privilege in 2015, and Sunset Ashram every year.

In January 2017 he became the first Spanish DJ to perform in Ethiopia as the headliner for the Mosaic festival in Addis Ababa.

Meine Odyssee zieht sich unerwartet in die Länge. Nach einer halben Stunde habe ich völlig die Orientierung verloren und ziehe auch eher unorthodoxe Methoden in Betracht. Vielleicht sollte ich tiefer in die Katakomben hinabsteigen, um weiter hinten einen anderen Weg nach oben zu finden. Ich gebe der nächsten Abbiegung noch eine Chance und atme verzweifelt tief durch. Wieder kommt mir nichts bekannt vor und ich beschließe meinen Plan B in die Tat umzusetzen. Ich gehe zurück zur nächsten Treppe, die nach unten führt und versuche mein Glück. Die Warnhinweise „Betreten für Unbefugte verboten“ ignoriere ich einfach. In meiner jetzigen Situation halte ich mich durchaus für befugt, die unteren Ebenen zu besuchen. Ich bin ja schließlich in einer wichtigen Mission unterwegs. Es geht darum die trockenen Kehlen der Gäste weiter mit flüssigen Köstlichkeiten zu versorgen. Da muss man auch mal über seinen Schatten springen und ungewöhnliche Wege gehen.  

Das dachte sich auch unser heutiger Gast Darksidevinyl. Nicht nur sein Name ist außergewöhnlich, sondern auch seine eigenen Produktionen. Die landen immer wieder in den Beatport Top 100 und stehen für qualitativ hochwertigen Sound. Genau das könnt ihr auch von seiner deep story erwarten.

I arrive to this futuristic metallic sanctuary to find a crowd already in a very  sensitive state towards the dreamy music is being played. I get in the mood and sensitive too... I take over the controls and feels easy to adapt to the vibe and create my own. All these receptive people go for it and the journey continues through the night taking other direction but keeping the sense of all dancing as one... It’s all about the ride for London-born, Toronto-raised, DJ/producer, Adam Nathan. With roots as a drummer, the rhythm and percussive evolution is evident in his sets and can range from the stripped down deep and soulful, to the big and funky driving sounds of house. He has held residencies in some of Toronto’s landmark nightclubs and performed in cities in Europe, Asia, North America & the Middle East. 
On the production front, although his sound is different than most, Adam captures the soulful and rhythmic complexities of the inspirational muses he’s been influenced by over the years.

Ah, Brooklyn, the city that has it all – from the gritty to the glorious, it’s a city that’s always changing and has stayed the same. It’s raw, it’s hype, it’s traditional, it’s fresh. I love this place. It’s a great break from the congestion of Manhattan but still has that New York attitude…well, from the OG residents, that is. By day you’ve got Prospect Park with its farmer’s markets and beautifully groomed nature, Coney Island handball courts, and plenty of shops, restaurants and pickup ball games. By night the main streets hum with the sounds of drunken youth, overflowing bars, friend’s laughter, rooftop parties, and great underground club nights.
