8dayCast 331 - Harmonious (BE)

A Compilation of unpublished material of my music production created  2017 - 2022.

End of 2021 my external hard drive crashed,  with all my music production files on it. It did contain many tracks which never have seen the world so far.
So I thought that should change.

As I had many of my tracks as previews on the cloud, I felt driven to create a special mix of my Originals never published. Let me take you on a very personal journey of my music production which marks the time of 2017-2021 in my life. 

The opening track is a unique interpretation of Jen Cloher's voice in her track  'Take Something Beautiful', while the second track is an unpublished remix of Wildfang's track 'Feel'. All following material is self composed and arranged in Ableton.

"For more than 15 years, James Beetham has been pursuing a unique blend of progressive house, breaks and techno as a DJ, producer, radio host, and label-owner.
With a lifelong love of progressive electronic music underpinning everything he does, James’ ability to connect with an audience has seen him perform to dancefloors across Australia, championing his sound and skills at iconic festivals, clubs, and warehouse parties.
James’ studio original productions and remixes have received widespread support from industry giants such as Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Jamie Stevens, Subandrio, Bog, and Maceo Plex - while artists such as Robert Babicz, Ewan Rill, and Loco & Jam have remixed his work.
As co-owner and manager of the globally recognised progressive house label Late Night Music – as well as managing the electronica focussed CTL ALT TRIP Records, and A&R for Australian label Bunyip Records - James shows true passion for connecting with like-minded artists in Australia and abroad.
His ear for sound sees James working professionally as an engineer at Jack The Bear studios - one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most well-regarded audio workshops - helping artists to perfect their mix and achieve their musical vision in the studio.
With his deep knowledge of music and dancefloor programming, James has graced festival stages and nightclub booths across the country, including Subsonic, Elements, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Burning Seed, and Electric Gardens. He’s played support shows for artists such as Robert Babicz, Sebastian Leger, Dubfire, Henry Saiz, Nick Curly and more.
James has more than a decade of continuous radio experience including a weekly headline show on Melbourne’s iconic Kiss FM. He now presents the monthly Friction on Proton Radio to an international audience of dancefloor devotees."

In love with music, Carlos Takada (aka Tk), who grew up in the capital of São Paulo, started his career as a DJ in 2015, passing through some styles of underground electronic music, nowadays his sets are focused on Progressive and Organic House, always exploring a remarkable and hypnotic progression according to the proposal of the moment. With songs signed on labels such as Deepersense Music, Nube Music, Terasonic Records, Transensations Records, Dark Mirror Records and A Must Have, his productions present his own sound identity with grooves full of percussion, spatial ambiences and hypnotic melodies. Supported by  Hernan Cattaneo, Graziano Raffa, Luciano Scheffer, among others, he has performed at parties in São Paulo and in the south of the country such as: Clash Club, Club A, Terasonic, Listen, Transenses, Freak House, Hernafter, Road to Mars..
