Twenty nine episode of B2B channel. This time with… Birdsong!!! Another great and exquisite DJ, of whom I was hooked from the first time I heard him. He has been other great reference for me inside the world of house music in Mixcloud, with these fantastic selections mixed with a lot of talent and good taste, able to combine different rhythms with a lot of quality. So I am very grateful that he have accepted this collaboration with me. I must highlight his magnified session full of big moments and great tracks, like the one with which the session started and a lot of more. Without any more preambles, I take the advantage to thanks to everyone for the great support to received, and I hope you enjoy again with this new B2B episode, and have another great musical moment.

• DJ Birdsong aka Stefan Makowski from Bremen
• Professional DJ since 1993
• First techno and house parties in 1993, at that time still in Delmenhorst, my home town in the outskirts (basement club at the time when the girls were still dancing on the boxes)
• Then various live sets in Northern Germany in cooperation with Container Records Hamburg
• Party events in the port of Bremen as a resident in the DJ lineup (20 Mark entry, Guarana drinks free)
• From 2003 onwards, so to speak, on maternity leave, family commitments and professional work as an electrical engineer and application developer caused me to stop professional DJ work
• During this time there were nevertheless numerous livesets in the private sector
• from 2015 again various sets under the motto "hanging up in strange places" e.g. my favorite hairdresser, old people's home, psychiatry, prison, laundromat, open air on the Weser !!!
• from 2016 online DJing mainly on Mixcloud but also Soundcloud, Youtube and various internet radio stations

"Music has been all along a solid thing in my life, but it took me some time to fully get into it , professionally wise. it all started when I lived in London, where I got involved with an amazing music community, and the very special sort of music they play. I traveled a lot around the world and lived in different places. Every place has its own unique type of music which helps, nowadays, to avoid define my style as I combine all those elements I picked throughout the years. However, the foundation for me, when creating music, is the African vibe. Personally, I feel uplifted when i use African instruments as I have a really strong connection to Africa due to the time I lived there in my youth."

"Harry Ken’s years of experience behind the turntables are always evident in his driving sets that are always hard on the bass. At the tender age of 15 he began to take the 1210s into his heart and his first resident gig wasn’t long in coming. Still addicted to hip-hop at the age of 17, it quickly became apparent to the man from Ulm that the hard bass and the driving melody would be his musical home and so he set out to seduce the crowd with electronic sets. 

Musically, his sets are difficult to classify in one of the many electronic drawers – but they all have one thing in common: ATTACK!Whether in small basement clubs or on the big boards that mean the world, Harry knows how to play with the crowd, to close their eyes to seductive dreams or to open their mouths wide and make the crowd go crazy. 

“Hands up Harry” always remains true to its musical diversity and knows perfectly how to let the various varieties of electronic bandwidth appear in its sets. That Harry does not only cut a good figure behind the turntables is shown by his various releases on well-known labels as well as his top placements on Beatport! Further releases will follow, of course, and we can already look forward to what Harry has in store for us.

In addition, Harry runs various series of events very successfully in his position as Head of “Schlaflos” and “Bordel Nouveau”, which have put southern Germany into turmoil and will continue to do so. A man with many faces – why not smile at him too?"

Bio:
Hoax (BE) is a rising Belgian electronic producer and DJ specialising in melodic and progressive house and deep techno. With previous releases on labels like Loud Memory, Black Lizard, Blanco Y Negro and Langhewood, Hoax (BE)’s sound is rooted in expressing emotion through melody and slick, evocative production as he looks to make his mark on the electronic landscape in 2022 and beyond. 

Inspired into producing music by his experiences at Belgium’s legendary Tomorrowland festival, Hoax (BE) began exploring various electronic genres, initially producing and performing disco at open-air parties before exploring the deeper shades of house championed by acts like Purple Disco Machine, Tinlicker, Ben Bohmer and Jan Blomqvist. 

Self-taught on YouTube videos from the age of 15, Hoax (BE)’s productions are typically highly emotional while remaining firmly rooted on the dancefloor. From the disco-tinged funk of tracks like Hot For You and Deeper Love – both of which have clocked up hundreds of thousands of plays on Spotify - to the epic, progressive scope of 2022’s Vision of You – his music has a clear through line  and consistency without ever coming across as formulaic.
