Save Us proudly presents “ You Said I Would “ EP by YokoO, a strong release with a defined sense of groove and depth designed for the dance floor and beyond.

Not an Englishman in New York but a Frenchman in Sydney, full time dreamer and a friend Julien aka YokoO is no stranger to house music in all its deepest forms. 
With releases on highly regarded labels such as Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Moodmusic, Plastic City and Kina Music, Julien has marked out a spot for himself in the global house music scene with talent being sought after from every corner of the world.

YokoO’s "Musik Gewinnt Freunde" colleague Jonas Saalbach offers a top notch remix showing full potential of his unique talent. With his releases on Einmusika Recordings, the Berlin-based artist now embarks on a journey to new influences and old love affairs.

The title track follows YokoO's trademark sound with a deep techno feel, filled with strong basses, a delicate arrangement and dreamy melodies.

We couldn't be happier about this release and we suggest you to keep an eye on YokoO & Jonas who will spend their whole summer in Berlin . . .

3 QUESTIONS to ADRIAN HOUR:

Q: You are living in Argentina. Are there any plannings to move to Europe because of the music?

A: Yes, I'm from Argentina and currently thinking about moving to Europe contastly. The reason is because most of the labels, managers, agencys and friend producers are from there, so I need to  do it for my career. It is not easy leaving family, girlfriend and friends to focus 100% on my job and what I love too!


Q: For most of the people inside our scene you are “The man of the HOUR” – what´s the secret behind your name – if there is a secret?

Haha that´s a funny question, but to be honest it is an stupid story. When I started playing in my duo called "2Robots" alongside my big friend Nicolas Chamorro, I always picked him up before any gig from his home, I was always so on time with anything. Sometimes it is a positive characteristic and sometimes not at all, I know. And the other reason is because my real name is Adrian Agüero, so Nicolas called me  "Agüero" sounding like "Hour" and kidding me cause I was so annoying about the time.

Q: You´ve got releases on Toolroom &amp; Suara – what can we expect soon?

Oh yes!! My latest release was on Suara with four original tracks that I've been working all these months, having an amazing reaction from followers and reaching the whole ep on Techno Top 100 on Beatport. So the next one is one of the biggest releases at the moment - in collaboration with Mark Knight on Toolroom. Then another two big collaborations will be with two amazing producers (it is a secret, haha)

Dear Friends of Electronic Music, I'm quite busy with recording and uploading my live-mixes, but I'm really happy about every gig the last months :) And on top I allways played fresh music, no tracks that you will find in my older mixes. This Time I played warm up at Dreamwave Festival  directly before Worakls in my favorite Club in Town: Postgarage.  I started at 01:00 when the club just begann to get packed, so there was a really good atmosphere from the start till the finish. I tried to push it not to hard and was playing out my favorite Afro-House Tunes in the moment. But I got the feeling that the dancers like it a little bit more progressive and it ended in some Techno :) I hope you have fun while listening to the mix, I really enjoyed it while playing. Manchmal ist einfach die Suche danach,  der Weg nach dem Magic Moment, dass das Leben so lebenswert macht.
Tief im Inneren verborgen - mit Worten nicht auszudrücken, was in den Körperzellen passiert.

Ich bin so dankbar - dass ich zum SUNDOWNER auf dem Rooftop im Jandia Robinson Club spielen durfte…
Die Sonne lachte mir mit voller angenehmer Wucht ins Gesicht. 
Es war Februar. Gefühlt Winter - zumindest in unseren Gefilden. Aber nicht auf den Kanaren.
Dann diese Zärtlichkeit des Moments….
Es fühlte sich an wie in einem Traum. Kann mir mal jemand in den Arm zwicken.(dachte ich mir)
Ist das gerade wirklich so?

Diese Energie - der Blick auf den Ozean. Der Wind. Die Freiheit. Die Menschen vor mir. 
Sitzend. Stehend. Den Moment genießend. Jeder in seinen Gedanken. In seiner Welt.
Ich wäre  am liebsten mit Anlauf einfach ins Meer gehüpft….
Und das ganze serviert mit dem Beat meiner Musik…
Dann dieses Grinsen von Menschen, die einfach die Musik inhalierten und mir ein Lächeln schenkten…
DANKE. Dankbar. 
Vor Freude kamen mir die Tränen.
Was tun?
Den Moment festhalten. Zugreifen. Nicht loslassen.
