We are ecstatic to be kicking off the 2022 Techgnosis Records lineup with a ferocious showing from the always-impressive Aleckat, who first made his label debut exactly 2 years ago. We celebrate this auspicious occasion with the release of 'Scritchy', a truly exceptional mini-album comprised of 5 brand new creations, with 2 of those getting a proper remix treatment from scene icons Miles From Mars and a collaborative rework from fellow Australian artists, the talented Tomchilla and Lektrk. Aleckat's signature playful-yet-serious blend of progressive and psychedelic techno is on full display here, with each piece boasting a strong thematic flavor and sound design. An embodiment of the ultimate connection. Absorbing, then revealing the power, as one sits upon mother earth and feels her energy rising. Emotional dynamics mirror that of a menacing hurricane to a bird's call on a clear day. The grounding groove is hypnotic, electric, therapeutic, ringing through the treetops.

To complete this collection, Digital Structures invited a continuum of epic contributors in One Million Toys, Miles From Mars, and South Zone, alongside label captain Yuli Fershtat.

I was asked to contribute to a remix for Australian artist Zimbardy some time ago (originally for Bassic Records). Unfortunately, the young artist passed away unexpectedly and the release never went through. Now with permission from the family, I have the joy of seeing this remix released with my companions at Blind Arc for their inaugural various artists compilation. It was a tremendous privilege to work with Sam before his passing, and I'm grateful that this tune will be able to be shared with the community. Blessings!
