Mattr aka Matthew Clugston is a leftfield house, breaks, and techno producer as well as a superbly talented motion graphics artist from Birmingham, now living in London. With residencies dating back to his hometown at Code with Steve Lawler as well as supporting gigs for Sasha & Danny Tenaglia, Mattr  shared decks with the likes of Tale of Us & Jamie Jones before hosting his own events with fellow innovator Alex Banks as well as Maxxi Soundsystem, and XXXY, to name a few. It was from there that he made the move to Berlin to study music production & performance and where he'd form a friendship with label partner, Max Winstanley (Lewyn Stan)who he paired up with to launch their Helical Scan imprint.

After years honing his sound, Matthew went on to release his first album along with several other productions on Faceless Recordings, TrippyCode, Ozono, and CRR, garnering support from Amé, Guy Gerber, Anja Schneider, Nick Warren, Rodriguez Jr, & the legendary Laurent Garnier.

25 years after first cutting his teeth DJing tech house & breaks, Mattr's broad musical palette often draws him closer to the more emotive side of electronic music, finding deep resonance with forward-thinking artists like Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, Overmono, Fourtet, Phon.O and Radioactive Man, whom you'll hear plenty of in his consistent & beautifully diverse mix series.

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums – Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 – have been a direct ode to the capital. "After her first release on the 'Motek Journeys: USA' compilation as part of duo Slumber, Amber Cox is back with her own EP ‘Electric Lights’. Both original tracks, ‘Electric Lights’and ‘Heart Of’ are packed full of spacious grooves and warm pad textures. 

'Electric Lights' with it’s crisp rhythms draw you in around subtle interplay between bass and synth sections and is finished off with mystery in the spoken vocal. 

'Heart Of’ takes on more of an understated deep feel. Moody and atmospheric, the track weaves its way through an arrangement of interest and intrigue. 

Remixing on this release we are exited to welcome Minilogue's Nobody Home (aka Marcus Henriksson) and from the Motek team Navitas, Delfin & Taoma.

Luke Garcia and Th3 Oth3r present 2 melodic techno tracks where they will take you on a musical journey based on arpeggios, synths and an exciting percussive groove.

Flight Low is an authentic work to free the mind and to let you take by its incredible atmosphere from beginning to end. Excellent arpeggios and synths make you dance the 7 minutes aggressive and melodic that this work takes. Melodic techno at its best.

Xtra Flight is much more groove and directs to the track. Techno groove sounds that do not let in at all times. Some leads in the middle of the track that make a magical and powerful climate.

The remixers this time are made by the excellent Italians Glance Off and Erly Tepshi. The re-interpretation that each gives the originals, is simply fantastic. Atmospheres, pads, techno and many grooves to round off a magical and direct EP to the dance floor.
