Don Son - Organized Confusion [trndmsk]

La Danza de las Bestias is a live electronic music duo formed in 2015 by Sebastián Morán and Luciano Cirone, whose proposal oscillates between techno, acid, house and break. Through their dawless Live Set they seek to imprint in their shows primal, electric and the hypnotic feelings. We are happy to announce that they're joining the Módula family with an EP that builds a bridge between their aesthetic journey and their current projection on the dance floor.

"Los abismos negros" introduces us to a dark atmosphere of a Latin western with clean and spatial guitars; on the electronic highway appear the sung verses of La Danza capturing the feeling of futility, spiritual surrender, syncopation of the individualism in the collective dance that will occur on the dance floor. The track presents connection between psychedelic riffs with small acid ornaments under baths of noisy intensities in a constant rhythmic indie dance skeleton.

Founded in 2023, Modula is an electronic music label with a unique proposal in the Buenos Aires music scene. His sound aesthetics can be associated with indie dance, dark disco or melodic techno, but the fundamental essence of his music is the conditions of its production: the use of analog synthesizers, sequencers, rhythm machines and other hardware devices that they use the artists that belong to the label to produce and perform their music. That is where Module finds its identity. The sound exploration, the aesthetic search and the time dedicated to these artisan processes of composition and completion of the music differ from the current accelerated processes of electronic production and place the label's participants on the radar of artists who stand out for the use of these instrumentals and the curatorship of said music.

"Vibrations and frequencies of Chicago, Detroit and West London permeate “IF IT AINT DEEP,” the new 6 track mini-LP from Ric Miranda. The tracks, created in the first two weeks of 2024, make for deep, late-night listening. They range in style, touching on Detroit Techno, Broken Beat, and Deep House - all musical movements that have influenced Ric’s musical journey. The title came about because of the rigidity of the sub genre category that Ric’s records are always placed in at record stores.

“IF IT AINT DEEP” is the 18th vinyl release on Noble Square Recordings.

“No Desires” features Roland drum sounds against a wash of synth chords and a rubbery lead and was created as a musical work out.

“Lost Skills” was also created as an exercise of sonic frustration and features a hollow arpeggiated lead over dirty chords and a low slung bassline. “If It Aint Deep” takes things a bit deeper with a feeling of late night scenes of passing lights and nostalgic memories of the future. “Day 2 Forget” is a more funky style that contains vibrations of both Chicago and Detroit. “Josette” is another fusion composition with layers of Latin rhythms, epic strings and atmospheric sounds.
“Vibe Conduit” completes the “IF IT AINT DEEP” mini LP with broken beats, crashes, splashes and a deep dub bass."

He had spent decades collecting obscurities and instruments of fortune, the bits and bobs from behind the scenes that no man would risk their money upon. Now within his tiny room he spent every single night jamming away at the meandering hardware in a robust attempt to bring it all back to life. Few from the outside world were familiar with his methodology or plans but soon they would be at the mercy of his mind and matter. 

DJ OIL returns to the infamous Lddlm with a three track EP of weighty prominence and abstract electronics. It would be unjust to simply describe them as dancefloor orientated but they work bloody well. Seek and you will find.
