‘Yang’ is the latest solo endeavour from Reza Safinia, the Album draws on his deep interest in Eastern philosophy and his own spiritual practices to inspire a sound that marries the ethereal with a call to the dancefloor. This new album was written as the first global lockdowns were lifted. It follows on from Yin, which was composed at the start of the pandemic. Both albums reflect the energies of those different situations, and both were recorded at 432Hz - a tuning standard that is said to resonate with living beings and our chakras. The albums and their titles are inspired by the Chinese cosmology principle that everything consists of a balance of Yin and Yang. 
Yin is the pianos and strings, and Yang the electronic production elements. They have been conceived from meditation and a mindful presence in one's environment, with deep connections to humanity. Musically, the albums combine everything from electronica to downtempo, melodic house to techno. Importantly, Yang carries a sense of hope for human connection and lust for celebrating life.

Following Matthias Meyer's hugely acclaimed ‘Sweet Ease’ / ‘Hybrid Society’ collaboration with Budakid on Watergate Records which reached No.1 on Beatport Indie Dance and was accompanied by Matthias Meyer touring worldwide, ’The Choir’ EP showcases the Berlin-based artist’s trademark diverse and eclectic sound, whilst brimming full of emotion and energy.

The deep and stirring title track ’The Choir’ is a highly original and mesmeric opener whose centrepiece is a euphoric, yet poignant church choir refrain which shimmers and pulsates throughout, beautifully deployed alongside the tougher edged beats which drive the hypnotic cut. This truly remarkable track is certain to become a highlight of DJ sets over the coming months, whether played at a beach party in Mexico, or in a stadium arena concert.

’Touch Of Magic’ complements ‘The Choir’ perfectly, as ‘80s inspired synths and glitchy beats move up a tempo, whilst the choral elements are softened alongside addictive stabbing percussion and sparkling, cascading chords.

Meyer’s debut label release, ‘Strangely Enough’, was released in Spring 2021 and included support from RÜFÜS DU SOL, Solomun, Sasha, Adriatique, Rampa, and James Grant, amongst others.

The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Alex Donofrio & Tim Angrave back to the label with their "Illuminate EP". Harmonious, Different Ray & Fabian Balino got invited to do a remix.

American electronic music producer Alex Donofrio touched down on the scene in early 2020 with an array of upbeat cinematic soundscapes that traverse across the melodic house and techno realms. A solid lineup of releases on underground labels such as Stripped Recordings, Eternalism, Faites Leur Des Disques, and Bullfinch signaled the start of his producer journey followed by a string of independent singles which harp an abundance of ethereal deeper vibes, progressive house, organic house, and balearic chillout.

The producer, DJ and broadcaster Tim Angrave has always had a deep passion for emotive music, with inspirations from different styles of music, people and environments, past and present.Tim is involved with various radio stations globally including Pioneer DJ Radio, Ibiza Sonica Radio. He also has a highly prosperous iTunes podcast called ‘The Chillout Lounge Mix' which has had millions of downloads, it's included new talent and an array of world class artists. His unique style of mixing various genres, track selection and ability to work closely with the artists and labels he includes on his show have been a big part of this success story. Tim's proficiency to compile, present and promote music has gained him huge respect from the industry with many keen to work with him.

'French superstar in the making, Obbie joins the label with ‘Golden Linings’ beautifully remixed by Omer Tayar and Omer Bar.

Parisian producer and DJ, Obbie is purveyor of rich harmonies and crisp and warm sounds that transport souls. His live sets are filled with moments of high drama where blankets of melancholia are draped around your shoulders in warm embraces, and his productions are no less eventful.

‘Golden Linings’ opens with groove. Ethereal voices float above the sparse percussion and a warm, homely feeling invites you to stay a while. Sombre piano evokes deep thought as the groove intensifies midway and angelic vocals drift in and out. On remix duties, Omer Tayar and Omer Bar toughen the groove with subtle tribalism and airy pads. Pushing the vocal to the front adds a new dimension.'
