"Anathema Records kicks off 2021 with an artist and label debut EP, proudly introducing Ukraine's musician, and producer/DJ, Kamira (A.K.A. Katerina Mironova). Born and raised in Kharkov, Kamira had a fascination for music since childhood, and she has been producing music since 2018. She has played in the most famous institutions of Ukraine introducing styles such as deep house, afro house and progressive with vocal inserts. Love Preset EP brings to life 2 original tracks and 2 reworks. Kamira makes a musical statement on both tracks and puts a trademark for future releases.

'Love Preset' kicks off with a steady punchy baseline, then introducing a deep synth progression; both complemented by vocal inserts intertwined with a tribal drumming build-up and dynamic musical elements. The middle bridge of the track introduces a different flavor as it emphasizes the drums and the synths, hypnotizing your ears.

'Carriage Reins' Fashions a powerful progression with eerie keys and well-paced bassline. Deeper and groovier synths are complemented by tasteful chants, combined with subtle percussions and eerie soundscapes.

PREMIERE: David Salow - Nebula (Original Mix) [Dumble Records]

It’s the firmest of fixtures in the Selador schedule, you know the score by now – there’s gold in them there Showcases. And it’s lucky number 13 this time as we celebrate the label’s 8th birthday with our latest six-pack of turbocharged goodness.



As is our way, it’s another thoroughly international affair kicking off with an Anglo/Germanic collaboration made in Seladorian Heaven, as label boss (job share) Steve Parry teams up with Marc DePulse, a veteran of several previous Selador releases. ‘Lokalmatador’ will firmly ensconce itself in your head, as a central riff and rock-solid percussion keep it rooted, allowing all sorts of madness to ensue.



We then cross the border to France where the ever-prolific Dorian Craft awaits. Dorian debuted on Selador with ‘Pleia’ back on Showcase 6 and we are delighted to welcome him back with the hypnotic throbbing chugger that is ‘Kiyora’, where a melon twisting riff duels with Dorian’s trademark ethnic-influenced vibes.



Heading South, sometimes the song title of an instrumental electronic track can perfectly convey its mood and that’s certainly the case with the Selador debut from the blossoming FKA Mash. The South African producer who we’ve been carefully tracking for some time brings us ’Starlit Desert’, a thing of real understated beauty, beautiful synths swathing, underpinned by a sumptuous groove.



Four tracks in, and we welcome Danish duo Baime back to Team Selador for the first time since 2019’s well-received mix of Animal Trainer’s ‘Amaron’. New production ‘Kaimo’ is one for the dark recesses of both minds and dance floors, enticing you to partake of a dose of hedonism.



The next destination on our whistle-stop world tour of electronic production talent is Lebanon where another debutant Atribut delivers the intense ‘You Gave Me Love’, a heady brew that builds and builds ‘til going full acidic as the vocal refrain gnaws into your brain.



Finally, we finish with a trip to Italy for another very welcome label returnee, Paul Ursin, whose mix of techno and house has graced many a fine imprint. As with ‘Starlit Desert’, ‘Seaflight’ is aptly named, an epic electronic deep dive no doubt inspired by Paul’s Sicilian homeland.



And with that, we raise a celebratory toast to Seladorian’s everywhere on the milestone of our 8th anniversary. Thank you as always for your continued support. Here’s to the next 8 and beyond.

Some time ago we had a utopian vision that seemed impossible in an increasingly saturated market where the music business was taking the strength and direction where many artists were betraying their talent to sell more records and become popular.

Back then, two enthusiasts from their little corner in Paris decided to create a record label to give some positive air to all the pollution and toxicity we were living, a label where we could all contribute in a positive way to help children in the poorest regions of the world.

Who are you? Thanks but no thanks, we often heard, but over time the idea became a reality and with the help of many artists who without asking for anything in return did not hesitate for even a second to be part of this project Lost on You was born and that vision became our mission.

Today, after 5 years of foundation the effort of all led us to build a school in Sierra Leone where 207 children study happily since September 2021 in 6 well-equipped classrooms, with teachers well-trained by our organization and collaborators. Going a step further for this year 2023 we will open two new schools in Liberia in partnership with SoundCloud, but none of this would be possible without all the people involved in our project, from the artists to the media who help us without asking anything in return. This release is a tribute to all of them, a selection of our favorite tracks during these 5 years, for you and for all those who are still faithfully by our side.
