"After her first release on the 'Motek Journeys: USA' compilation as part of duo Slumber, Amber Cox is back with her own EP ‘Electric Lights’. Both original tracks, ‘Electric Lights’and ‘Heart Of’ are packed full of spacious grooves and warm pad textures. 

'Electric Lights' with it’s crisp rhythms draw you in around subtle interplay between bass and synth sections and is finished off with mystery in the spoken vocal. 

'Heart Of’ takes on more of an understated deep feel. Moody and atmospheric, the track weaves its way through an arrangement of interest and intrigue. 

Remixing on this release we are exited to welcome Minilogue's Nobody Home (aka Marcus Henriksson) and from the Motek team Navitas, Delfin & Taoma. 

Nobody Home has put his take on ‘Electric Lights’ and delivered an organic production, subtly growing and shaping the audio landscape as it hypnotically develops.

Navitas, Delfin and Taoma, have put the Motek treatment to ‘Heart Of’ with a punchy groove infused production, incorporating elements of the original but taking a darker approach with use of a spoken vocal and sharp synth sections."

Luke Garcia and Th3 Oth3r present 2 melodic techno tracks where they will take you on a musical journey based on arpeggios, synths and an exciting percussive groove.

Flight Low is an authentic work to free the mind and to let you take by its incredible atmosphere from beginning to end. Excellent arpeggios and synths make you dance the 7 minutes aggressive and melodic that this work takes. Melodic techno at its best.

Xtra Flight is much more groove and directs to the track. Techno groove sounds that do not let in at all times. Some leads in the middle of the track that make a magical and powerful climate.

The remixers this time are made by the excellent Italians Glance Off and Erly Tepshi. The re-interpretation that each gives the originals, is simply fantastic. Atmospheres, pads, techno and many grooves to round off a magical and direct EP to the dance floor.

Here at ATLANT we’re always excited to unearth something vibrant and exciting. This time we set our course for Cologne, a city with a burgeoning reputation for producing new electronic talent, as we proudly welcome Søren Laga to the fold.

After a debut for iconic afro house imprint MoBlack, Søren’s work has an emphasis on quality and integrity. Rather than following trends Søren is brave, charting his own path, wherever the music takes him. When music is this good, who can blame him.

‘Pentagon’ fuses tribal percussive influences, floating chords and subtle dramatic embellishments against a wailing synth theme that builds and simmers as the dance- floor sways as one .. lost in unison to the groove, until a intense release of euphoria snaps the crowd out of their hypnotic state.

Taking things deeper the soothing keys of ‘Origami’ captivate as the bass-line gently pulses, allowing the mesmerising siren-like motif to take over. A lesson in melody and restraint, as with ‘Pentagon’ all key moments are judged to absolute perfection.

Tried and tested live by label head BOg the two tracks on show have collected their air miles from Munich to Moscow. With so much to bring you now and into 2019 these are exciting times for ATLANT. We hope you feel the buzz too.

Hailing from Cologne, Søren Laga is just starting out on an artistic journey full of promise and endless possibilities. The 24 year-old German producer and DJ made his debut on Casetta Records before gaining wider acclaim with his incredible debut EP 'Moving Light' for iconic afro house tastemakers MoBlack Records.

Producing melodic, deep house Søren prides himself in creating music for people who like to close their eyes in the club, getting lost in the sound and beats, to enjoy those special personal moments as well as a collective togetherness.

With his next EP forthcoming on BOg’s ATLANT it can’t be long before word gets out. So watch this space, Søren Laga has a bright future and is a name to look out for.

Exclusive Mulya & Sobek 'Shaking Hands'

Literally spoken Hungarian artists Mulya and Sobek are shaking hands for their latest common release on Chapter 24, factually the both have been friends for quite a while. Regardless the aforementioned the busy producers have come up with another club-oriented, rhythmically influenced four tracker, 'Mirrored Screen', that continues to carry their melodious and tropical vibe throughout the scene to the floors. 'Shaking Hands' might be the best of both's artists worlds - as it combines a lush bass line, which is heavily shaking its way through the following synth-chords as they are pulled up like an accordion and create a restlessness and keep the listener in an infinite dance-loop to Mulya & Sobek's highly musical sound spectacle. 

Mulya & Sobek's EP 'Mirrored Screen' will be released on Chapter 24 on September 20th, 2019.

Continuing the much welcomed celebration of Poker Flat’s 20 years in the business, another classic from the back catalogue gets the remix treatment. 

Originally released in 2005, Love Dose was the first release on Poker Flat by the then rising star, Argy. 

The greek born Argyris Theofilis would go on to become a major player in the scene, and it’s not hard to hear why with Love Dose - a subtle and hypnotic track with evocative vocals in Spanish by Valeria. 

In the hands of German producer  and Poker Flat regular Tim Engelhardt, the track gets a new lease of life - the edges get sharpened and the rhythm a little tighter, while the balearic, acidic influences continue to shine through. Music for a sunrise in Ibiza, then and now.
