Mystic Rhythm is the first work out on 3-4-1 Cuts.

The author is Stefano De Miceli from Wats Records, an Italian artist long time active in the electronic scene as well as resident dj at Amnesia club of Milano from 2012.

For this release he presents us 2 exclusive tracks out of the ordinary. The pushing and bumping rhythms recall Chicago / Detroit atmospheres of the ‘90s, and with his particular raw and ravy style makes the listener stay constantly on the track. 

The project includes 3 remixes by swiss artists: Alogique & Bergsteiger as remixer of Mystic Rhythm while Artiglio and Walter Albini for Into the fog.

this VA release gathers experiences and different cultures of artists who exposed themselves by answering the call of SevenScalesRecords to compose something "acid", accurately selected for its sublabel 3-4-1 Cuts in a first shortlist of tracks, the most raw coarse and pure ones. 
  
13 exclusive tracks with just as many artists and styles gathered from three nations, whose music goes from ambient and downtempo to hard techno, passing through melodic house & techno and acid.  

Artist's infos: 
After many years of activity behind the scenes in various cultural projects, Luca Tavaglione, aka Dj Lukas / Raimond Ford / D-EX / Racket Knight (just to mention some of his artist's names known to the public), comes back on the market with a new pseudonym. ARTIGLIO wants to give his contribution to the development of an "interlocal" musical culture in the current context in southern Switzerland and act as bridge within local and international artists also thanks to the launch of the independent label, SevenScalesRecords.

The album features ten tracks that draw on Sam’s jazzy Egyptian roots while staying grounded in his usual melodic, mood-heavy aesthetic. Laconia features collaborations with fellow producers Cioz and Cook Strummer, as well as a special apparition by Sam’s paternal figure playing the Oud on Mirage. The tracks explore a diverse array of dispositions, from groovy up-warmers such as Mangata or Louna to more lively dancefloor aggregators such as Kamala Bani, on to the deeply polarizing, whirlwind synth dinger Guz or the more experimental self-evident Not Much To Say.

A novel detail makes an appearance on Je te vois, an acoustic electronic dance number with poetic lyrics tenderly sung in French for the first time. The artist’s romantic side also shows through the mystical elements interspersed throughout, from the spellbinding Encanto to the dreamy soundscapes of Atreyu, named after the famous German fantasy book character.

Thanks to a modest key riff and more cosmic effects, Aubade lends its meaning of “greeting in the sun” to the atmosphere, rounding off the release on an incandescent note.

Kamai doesn’t hold back strong releases even durjng a pandemic. At least we all need some fun in challenging times. The german, New York based producer @nhiimusic has just been signed to Kamaii’s constant growing roster and kicks of his debut with his thrilling "Tsubaki" EP. The first track Mangrowe Swamp is the spice in this ep. Playful, sweet staccato reverb sound pieces dance with a pulsating baseline. Followed by the title track „Tsubaki“ which is framed by 3 elements: Energetic organic drums, Acid baseline and Dreamy pads. Sold! Medina showcases his longtime experience as a producer, tribal shuffling synths try to catch the kick drum surrounded by a dramatic wild east oud pattern.

As the cherry on the cake @namito delivers a strong remix of "Tsubaki", but sometimes a baseline says more than words, pls HEAR IT LOUD!
