Melhor Dia means "best day" and refers to Friday night being the best day to start the weekend. The track is an exquisite seven minute journey with majestic synth work. It is bright and full of emotion as it unfolds in dramatic fashion over the succulent and rolling drums. A very Brasilian vibe with its many instruments and percussion. Afro house never sounded so good.

Melhor Dia (El Mundo Remix) then slows things down. The drums become more chunky, but the synths are just as expressive and bright, as they unfold in louche patterns up top.

This is a standout package of afro house magic

Adam Nathan is a London-born, Toronto-raised DJ and producer quickly making a name for himself on the global deep house scene. Previously collaborating under various monikers and part of Toronto’s influential Release Records crew, Adam is now unveiling potent solo tracks under his name. This new EP for Viva Recordings, titled Hyacinth, is his second for the label, and has the well-honed sound of a studio veteran, with a smooth, warm sound and emotive passages. Adam’s roots as a drummer come through with the stripped down emphasis on rhythm, while melodic flourishes and dynamic builds play masterfully on top. 
The EP opens with ”Hyacinth”, featuring dramatic strings and a fine, pulsating kick drum. The cut builds in a mesmerizing fashion, like the beautiful unfolding of this flower in Spring. “Soul Council” gets into even deeper territory, with deep and melodic inspirations, echoing some of the earlier work on the label. “Wave Hands Like Clouds”, finishes the EP off with dreamlike touches. Synth stabs, percussion that rolls, and the blissful strings will have you soaring. Float away on these deep vibes.

PREMIERE: Adam Nathan - Soul Council [Viva Recordings]

Brothers Enrique and David, alias EKDK, have been busy in recent years with the launch of their label Alpha Black. A mix of producing excellent tracks in line with their characteristic sound, finding artists with exquisite music production skills and taste, as well as donating and collaborating with the Spanish Child Cancer Foundation. 

In this case EKDK has reinterpreted Odagled's "Sunday", taking it from an electronic emotional track and turning it into a dancefloor weapon. Thick beat, with a sturdy kick and groovy percussion, accompanied by vocal notes and a guitar style arp, progressing through the track until we are welcomed by a classic EKDK style melody. An ominious break leading into a dubby drop, as all elements are ever evolving and modulating. An electronic beauty remixed into a club weapon.

Highlighting the 15th signing of Words Not Enough, young producer Peve teams up with label founders Awka and Edu Schwartz to bring to life yet another beautiful Organic House EP, La Habana. His creations are already known for praising organic, melodic and progressive elements within the genre, gaining space on labels around the world such as Stellar Fountain, Akbal, Zenebona and Hoomidaas.

This collab gave life to a three-track EP that involves a wide range of elements. High Flying, the album's opening track, has a mysterious atmosphere that conveys a certain wild excitement, embraced by Middle Eastern sounds, leaving listeners curious to know what keeps them there.

La Habana is wrapped in an elegant melody, with discreet rattles that highlight it from start to finish. The dreamy and relaxing tone is emphasized with the progressiveness of the sound surrounded by similar sounds of a Kalimba. The remix of the homonymous track, by the hands of Edu Schwartz, gains even more mesmerizing synths, while the producer bets on a strong and agitated version, without losing the charm of the original version.

"Having already appeared on Flying Circus Recordings with a killer collaboration with Maga back in 2019, DJ & producer Nhii goes on a solo venture with his new single ‘Closer’ featuring Shrii. Remixes are provided by Yulia Niko and Rony Seikaly, and the package is sealed off with another sweet production from the Brookyln based German artist.

In its original mix, ‘Closer’ is a pulsing and peppy slice of mystical and engrossing dance music, lightly dipped in reverb, and featuring a infectious vocal performance from Shrii, all delivered with the sophistication and elegance one would expect for a Flying Circus release.

Mannheim based Yulia Niko supplies the first of the remixes of ‘Closer’. The rising DJ/producer has hugely impressed via releases on esteemed labels like Watergate, 8Bit, Rebellion and Get Physical, and on her remix deploys a effervescent acid line and dubby chords whilst chopping up and twisting Shrii’s vocal for a pure transcendental workout.

Lebanese/US producer Rony Seikaly turns in the second remix on this bustling EP. Fueled by an early love of US house music, Seikaly has gone on to forge a sound and style that has graced labels like Moon Harbour, Voltaire Music as well as his own Stride imprint. His deep and seductive remix really works a treat here.
Closing the EP, Nhii pops in a second original production with ‘White Box’. 
Melodic synths bounce off a mechanical yet funky rhythm, soft kicks and deft percussion propel this hypnotizing and graceful track, and if a fitting finale to a stand out release on Audiofly’s established label."

PREMIERE: Nhii - Closer feat. Shrii (Rony Seikaly Remix) [Flying Circus Recordings]

'A year after the debut EP of Brian Cid on the label, we are very happy to announce that he is back with a new one titled 'Message X'. Again, really abstract and hypnotic productions, with a very high tension. This collection of tracks is a journey that slowly evolves itself into a real exploration.

The first track ‘Shoreless Ocean’ is the slowest one of the three and has a great groove on the low-end in combination with its percussion. Its repeating main synth brings you in a hypnotic state of mind after which some surprising elements come to the front. 

‘Golden Key’ transits this state of mind into the track. On top of its static, but yet dynamic and groove-creating percussion, some very extraterrestrial synths are hovering its way throughout the arrangement. 

The final track is the title track of the EP. Here the tempo goes up more in order to go towards an impressive techno experience. The track consists of long-stretched atmospheric elements with a fast-tempo deep stab below, which reaches a real depth around the middle of the composition. After this depth a unique use of snares has been implemented by this great producer. '
