This is Stephan's fourth appearance on the label in less than a year, but the first
collaboration with Yotto. With distinctive but synergic sounds, both artists are renowned for their ability to imbue their music with rich musicality and captivating rhythms. On 'New Era’ we are invited to join an odyssey into the infinite field of consciousness. The title track has the typical Yotto rippling rhythm that gallops along while drawing you into its orbit, whereas a melodramatic signature Stephan Jolk riff infiltrates your heart centre. On the flip ‘Only One’ takes a
more unassuming approach, the sombre tones complemented by the main melody which is melancholic, but at the same time uplifting. Dance music with pure soul at its core.

Once upon a time 11 years agoSincopat was born, initially focused on the search for the musical  essence  of  Sincopat's  Big  KahunaAFFKT  and  of  course  with  the  conviction  of having  a  different  and  personal  story  to  tell  always  looking  to  the  future  as  a  sign  ofidentity.
The  name  Sincopat  -syncopated  in  Valencian  language-  represents  its  own  essence,  its land’s, and the music’s, which actually serves as a starting point for the label.Nowadays, the label is in a moment of maturity, being a worldwide benchmark of avant-garde electronic music.
Of course this special release is signed by the father of the label who is among other things a  friend  of  fetish  numbers.  And  accompanied  by  two  great  remixes  by  the  wunderkind Biesmans  and  a  couple  of  artists  who  really  need  no  introduction:  the  ever-evolving,prolificand talented Icelandic duo, GusGus.

This very special release kicks off with “Barrejat”, which takes its name from the alcoholic drink  made  up  of  a  mixture  of  two  liqueurs  and  that  is  very  typical  in  some  areas  of Valencia (Spain). Like the drink, and as a tribute to its special flavour, the song is full of unexpected forms and impossible combinations.

Theory X welcomes Madrid based hyper-talented producers Fabio Fernandez and Samuel Wallen's ''OIBAFandWALLEN' brings two tracks of THRYX012 Catalog. The first track, which has the same name as the EP title, ''Luana'' delivers super catchy emotional leads, mysterious pads and driven drumlines.

The second track called, ''Destiny Awaits'' starting out with epic elemental musical journey contains like shimmering synth pads, charming lushy vocal lines and hypnotic rhythms.

Except those, we also have French legend Olivier Giacomotto (which he did releases on early Toolroom, Plus 8, Noir Music) bring a powerful bass synth-crushed, specialized remix for Oibaf and Wallen's Luana.

Julian Wassermann and Raphael Mader join forces to present their debut ¨Aversion¨ EP on Oddity. The collaboration between the two Munich based producers, is the first one signed to the label, showcasing 4 beautiful melodic tracks, and an emotive but energetic remix by the talented Artche.

The EP opens with the lead track ¨Aversion¨ where you can listen to the detailed work, sound design and catchy melodies that the two producers print to their productions, starting with the right foot in one of the most interesting collaborations yet on the label.

Going deeper into the EP, Julian and Raphael present us ¨Panic¨ and ¨Moment of Clarity¨ where they dig deeper into the realm of pads and melodies, creating two emotive pieces with catchy arpeggios, leads and profounds ambiences.

Artche jumps into the remix duties, reworking ¨Moment of Clarity¨ into a more groovy and energetic cut, still preserving the emotional elements, but printing his stamp into the rework.

To close the pack, the guys show us the more minimalistic cut ¨Panic¨ where the vocal cuts plays with the percussive elements and synths, creating a dance floor peak time groover.
