Premiere: Stimming 'Symphorine'

Dreamy aesthetics intertwine with dancefloor athletics in Several Definitions’ You Are Not Alone EP. The title track emerges via a slow paced wandering bassline, making for a gradually immersive intro. Padded with ethereal synths and aerial whizzes, Alone’s dreaminess increases tenfold showcasing the artist’s crafty melodic side. Hatzler jumps in on the remix, kicking off with a bumping bassline from the get-go. Injecting bass and grit is one of his known production traits, and he manages to give Alone a straightforward, still dreamy yet solid groove appeal.

What started as 2012s one-to-watch artists and a new favorite for clubbers who like their techno grooves organic and melodic, Oliver Schories represents the latest wave of promising producers.

The Hamburg man is well known for his quality house and stripped back minimal sounds. He plays at some of the best clubs in Europe and has released on Parquet, Steyoyoke, Darkroom Dubs, his own label SOSO and many more

Today, Oliver delivers 'Artik' off the Chapter 24 Records release of the same name. The track is a broody cut with dark bass underpinning an arching groove. Subtle synth patterns flesh it out and spooky vocals really add an air of intrigue.

South Africa’s  Ryan Murgatroyd and partner in crime Kostakis return to Get Physical Music with a new dark masterpiece. A three track EP titled Down Dog that shines a light into the shadows and reveals a beautifully crafted experience. ‘Down Dog’ send chills down the spine with its undeniably menacing groove supported by heavy bass and a haunting voiceover. The dub version gives us a clean slate, a pure dancefloor catalyst. ‘Waking up with Lucy’ shares the same vibe as it’s bigger brother and packs a punch perfect for late nights and dark rooms thanks to its ghostly synth growl, juicy kick and ultra-thick low end. It all comes together to create a very special sound that we are excited to share with you.

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.

Swiss label Fat Wax serves up their fourth firing release in the form of a new three tracker from Lorenzo Calvio with Kompakt artist John Monkman on the remix. Lorenzo is an emerging producer, resident DJ at Stardust in Milano and has links to labels like Apparel Music and Moodmusic.

First out of the blocks is Brunando, a shadowy tune, with prying synths and sweeping filters, but also some cosmic melodies that add drama and colour. It's a track full of wide open space so is sure to suck in the club and have it marching to its beat. John Monkman remixes it and does so with a subtle hand, layering in more twinkling keys and cosmic feels and ensuring the whole thing feels like being under a starry night sky.

The other original cut is Adios, a dark and broody tech tune that has rumbling bass and thundering claps. It's atmospheric and foreboding and really will get the attention of anyone who listens.

André Winter has been working under various collaborative pseudonyms and diverse aliases while shaping the sound of today's club scene. Since starting to release under his own name in 2005, Winter has found regular homes on Ideal Audio and now Senso Sounds. Delivering a double header on this release, Winter proves he remains ahead of the pack. 'Cascadeur' is a techno bomb - deep and driving with plenty of attitude. The thick bass tones rumble through the track, while a trippy vocal adds another dimension for the dancers. 'Fléaux' is cut from the same cloth - a companion piece to 'Cascadeur' that uses the same sound palette to create another twist on Winter’s blueprint. Both tracks are set to cause serious disturbance in basements and main rooms throughout the year.

"Into the Oblivion is the debut EP of syrian talent and Nie Wieder Schlafen homegrown Quatri. The project itself has been in a constant change for over half a year, re-working, scrapping and adding tracks to the EP – forming it to a true testament of his exceptional work as a 20-year old producer.
