For this awesome release, we move to Portugal, Lisbon to be precise. Inner Shah Records label head, Madd Rod drops a sublime 2-track masterpiece. Moving people for quite some time, Madd Rod knows how to create the perfect atmosphere. We have Martin Kremser on remix duty. With fantastic music out on labels as Univack, Einmusika, Diynamic and more he surely is a great addition to our label.

Frequent Flyer contains a superb combination of bustling beats and vibrating synths. Starting at a slow pace, but this track forms its body along the way. Juicy!

Perfect Landing is quite driving in the beats department. Rolling grove, heavy on the bass ... uptempo classy stuff!

Martin's progressive approach on Frequent Flyer is top-notch. Expect a swing-fueled and hypnotic groove.

Em dezembro de 2017 Paulo Foltz lançou seu primeiro álbum, ‘Pineal Connection’, com uma visão futurista e abordando temas como glândula pineal, estado de fluxo e metafísica. O álbum alcançou os ouvidos de Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Raxon, Clint Stewart, BLANCAh, além outros grandes artistas, projetando Foltz como o novo expoente brasileiro na cena techno mundial.

Tamanha repercussão o qualificou para um segundo álbum: ‘Pineal Connection Remixes’, com  releituras das faixas originais produzidos por artistas consagrados, variando entre diferentes vertentes do Techno, Minimal, Breakbeat e Eletctronica. Tal diversidade de gêneros presente neste trabalho evidencia ainda mais o alcance das faixais originais. O duo Binaryh em sua versão de ‘Pulsar’ combina brilhantemente camadas exuberantes de melodias com um rolling bass vibrante.

Next, on ICONYC we have the remix edition of TH;EN & Starkato’s ‘Tease’featuring 2 monumental remixes from D-Formation & Li-Polymer. Hailing from TH;EN and Starkato have been regulars on some of the world’s finest labels with their progressive and melodic techno influenced driving productions. For the remix edition of their classic smash ‘Tease’, we welcome Beatfreak head honcho and all-around good guy D-Formation and label favorite Li-Polymer. 'Both remixes feature rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive house vibes to satisfy ambient, uplifting and feel-good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release.

First up we have D-Formation who needs no introduction. The Beatfreak label boss’s maturity and musical development are in full swing, as he kicks off proceedings with a deep, hypnotic beat which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound floaty grooves and indie influences, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the remix underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect.

Next up we welcome back Li-Polymer who a few weeks back featured on the label with his wonderful ‘How They Shine’. Li-Polymer delivers another gem with is deep rework. His remix is interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Li-Polymer manages to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff from Li-Polymer.

The remix edition of ‘Tease’ really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful deep melodic release will leave you with many smiles induced moments! Not to be missed. TH;EN & Starkato’s ‘Tease’ sees a worldwide release on December 10th, 2018.
