Comme on sait que vous en voulez encore plus en ce début de saison estivale, on a décidé d’inviter un vétéran de la scène locale montréalaise depuis plus de 15 ans, Sébastien Kostello ! 

Ses collaborations avec de nombreux collectifs tels que Animal Exhibition, NoBassNoFun, Illusion Festival, HusaSounds, Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, SNDCHECK dans divers rôles, lui ont permis d'acquérir toute une gamme d'expériences parmi les meilleurs. 🪩

Son éclectisme ne connaît pas de frontières puisqu'il sélectionne certaines des morceaux les plus intéressantes du moment. Même si la plupart le décriraient comme un professionnel progressiste, ses diverses influences dans la vie vous emmèneront à gauche et à droite de ce style. Le batteur en lui vous apportera des grooves solides, précis, riches, avant-gardistes, contagieux et percutants. Le pianiste en lui vous apportera des mélodies romantiques et mélancoliques qui feront fondre les cœurs et vos moniteurs 🖤🔊

At regular intervals, ÉDEN devotes itself to showcasing the talent of local DJs.

As we know that you want even more at the start of the summer season, we decided to invite a veteran of the local Montreal scene for over 15 years, Sébastien Kostello!

His collaborations with numerous collectives such as Animal Exhibition, NoBassNoFun, Illusion Festival, HusaSounds, Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, SNDCHECK in various roles, have given him a range of top-notch experiences. 

His eclecticism knows no bounds as he selects some of the most interesting pieces of the moment. Although most would describe him as a progressive professional, his various life influences will take you left & right of this common style.  The drummer in him will bring you solid, precise, rich, cutting edge, infectious & thumping grooves. The pianist in him will bring you romantic, melancholic melodies that melt hearts & speakers 🖤🔊

Welcoming the highly anticipated record label from the Reculture team following 2 years of successful London events. Reculture founder Hardt Antoine sets the tone with a 3 track instrumental EP.
The record holds 3 separate grooves and colours linked together by their analogue sound palate and grooving flow.
"The One" was written as Antoine's personal 'handover' track . It begins heavy groove with a powerful backbeat and electronic synths. Following the breakdown the sounds evolve into heavier patterns creating a special moment to let the dancefloor know - they are here to experience something memorable.
Ambre Noir is a sophisticated record with a breakbeat groove, evolving melodic touch. The name is inspired by the dark yet warming colours of the track.
Redux's dark, modulated baseline hold in the listener while the progressive trip above takes them to another unique environment - a powerful weapon for a longer DJ set.

Whilst each track has it's differences, the EP predominantly revolves itself around the outlandish and abstract tones that are introduced by the Original Mix.
 
"06:19 (Original Mix)" is a modular unorthodox jam that crosses and brings together different elements across subgenres. The combination of vocals, an unconventional bassline and synths make it a memorable track that will leave you curious for more.
 
"06:19 (Hardt Antoine Remix)" reinterprets the original record by creating a club groove dynamic to his remix through the use of an alternate bassline, distorted lead and rearranged vocals. Hardt Antoine Returns for his second release on the label and does so with style. 
 
"06:19 (Massimiliano Pagliara Remix)" reinvents the bassline of the original with a 303 disco/acid overhaul setting the tone and style of the track, Massi's reinvention of the original brings energy to the dancefloor through the use of the lyrics and a suspenseful build-up making it a club anthem. 
 
"06:19 (Argy Remix)" encapsulates the dreamy ingredients of the original and bases the whole track around this, whilst being escorted by an afro-groove which creates an exclusive appraoach compared to the other remixes"
