Lo interesante es el carácter del remixer: tras años como DNYO, el alias Danny In Space llega desde São Paulo con un diseño sonoro quirúrgico y sensibilidad de pista. Su versión prioriza tensión y tracción: percusivas muy ceñidas, un bajo elástico que no pierde el centro, pads luminosos que entran y salen con intención, y un breakdown sin grandilocuencia que prepara un drop funcional, sólido, sin abandonar la emoción. Es remixer con biografía —del reconocimiento internacional a la ingeniería de estudio— y aquí firma un corte de largo aliento, pensado para dejar huella en cabina.

La etiqueta NOFF! —casa de Nick Stoynoff en Chicago y laboratorio de exploración— refuerza con esta entrega su línea curatorial: tres identidades distintas orbitando la misma idea, pero este remix de Danny In Space es el que se queda pegado a la memoria por su economía de recursos y su claridad narrativa. Renga Weh & Tal Fussman have developed a universally loved unique style; a dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fit in any kind of club or open-air festival. For their debut release on ICONYC Noir we're excited to welcome Kenan Savrun & Jiminy Hop to bring us their take on the duos debut single 'Ukiyo'. Renga & Tal know a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing productions. The duo deliver an irresistible track that kicks things off nicely with the melancholic vibes setting the tone. They roam effortlessly through deep inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top of the driving percussive foundation. Renga & Tal take it up a notch by adding an extra layer of depth, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed drumming and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the main groove. Their work deserves to be branded 'essential' in any sense of the word. On remix duty we welcome Kenan Savrun, for his debut on the label. Kenan who is known for his driving and refined sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general drive all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear yet sounding totally fresh - This massive touch up takes the energy quantities up a level and increases the drive with stripped back and lucid elements, before the energetic groove creates a blanket of warmth that will put a smile on your face. The second remix comes courtesy of label alumni Jiminy Hop, who brings a more progressive edge to 'Ukiyo'. His rework creates a good feel vibe from the word go, as the atmospheric and driving vibe keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces that keeps building to culminate into a lovely progressive house groover. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a stunning glow, creating an air of sophistication. Renga Weh & Tal Fussman manage to deliver a message of sustained musical relevance in emphatic fashion to warm the soul. These region-specific compilations were first unveiled in 2018 with Federico Monachesi curating the progressive hotbed of Argentina. 2019 then saw Movement invite Paul Angelo & Don Argento to explore the up and coming Cyprus scene. Now travelling to India for 2020, Movement Recordings have called upon Aaryan to compile the third edition. The eighth release of Metrica is called "301". Argia has composed two different tracks but with the energy that is always present. Ruede Hagelstein and Intervalo have been in charge of the version with their particular vision. A new release with great pieces.

"301" is the first track and the name of the release. A recognizable track in the Indie-Dance genre without forgetting the melodies always present in our releases. Argia presents this track with a very energetic drumbeat, a bass that keeps the groove constant, arpeggio that keeps you in constant tension and sophisticated melodies. Ruede Hagelstein's version doesn't forget the power of the original track, but it complements it with elements that lead you to have a constant expectation, an excellent remix that complements the original.

The second track called "Kameleon" is more oriented to a Techno-Melodic style. The progression of the track is marked by its melody that tells a story over a line of percussions. Its main elements will make you remember and identify this track. Intervalo had the great idea to use the most remarkable elements of the track to take it to a more Indie-Dance terrain that complements perfectly with the rest of the release.

Four tracks with differences between them, but very recognizable for our new release.

PREMIERE: Argia - 301 (Original Mix) [Metrica]

'GuyRo is an Irish born, Spanish based electronica DJ and producer, focusing on cooking up an infectious fusion of synth laden techno and progressive house. Not one to be pigeon holed into a singular style or tempo, 

GuyRo traverses the spectrum of dance music, with his sets comprising of everything from downtempo to breaks, to the tougher grooves of house and techno. 

While his music is fluid and free, one thing that remains constant is his ability to take listeners on a journey of sound. 
Presently, GuyRo’s discography contains very well received releases from labels like Krafted, Manual, Magnitude, PHW Elements, ICONNYC and many more. 

GuyRo is also a hard worker in the scene, managing his very busy release schedule along with his very well received online radio shows. Here, GuyRo delivers his release of his 'Ten' EP which illustrates how well GuyRo puts together warm, infectious beats and vocals to make very unique and emotional tracks.

We at Pangea could not pass the tracks up when first head them, and knew that when we signed them, any remixer would have to be bigger than the tracks themselves.

After a bit of thinking, one man who stepped up during the pandemic came to mind: Nick Muir of Bedrock! And of course, Nick did not disappoint, delivering a remix worthy of the term 'Bedrockeque...'
