During the time of the pandemic, a lot of people thought COVID was a joke. Myself included! Through that time, there were a lot of tears shed. A lot of "I wish I would have" statements. Full of aggressive saws, tight gooey drums, and beautiful heart felt plucks...this song is about RESPECT. Don't look at this as a song that is meant to be melancholy. This song is a warning. To cherish who you have and the time you currently still have with them BEFORE it's GONE. That is why it is called "Cherish". If you were to only listen to one song from me, I would want it to be this one.

I couldn’t find any Footwork tracks that are made with trance elements, so I made my own. Sincere question: does anyone know any projects that sound like this? That’s not an ego stroker I really want some & couldn’t find any, maybe I just didn’t look hard enough. DM if you know of any! 

Anyway, this is a 10 track mixtape, each song runs at 172 BPM. It's meant to be listened to as one long track but I don't blame you if you wanna listen to them individually <3

I’ve wanted to do a project like this for so long but constantly put it off or got sidetracked or distracted. I actually did do a similar 10 song/one file project about 20 aliases ago, but I’ve come a long way in terms of my production ability since then.

There’s vocal versions of these tracks that were supposed to be included in this mix but I, once again, got cold feet when recording vocals. I had basically everything laid out, but I wasn’t satisfied with how they came out. Think I’ll end up re-recording them for the extended mixes.

Also, while I’m just writing out my thoughts… So, it’s funny, I had an explanation of what the name KAiJUBRiDE meant, but a little while ago Dylan Mulvaney gave a quote in an interview on the show CBS Mornings that basically summed it up:
“The way they speak about us so often, it’s like we’re taking over cities like Godzilla.”
