8 Immortals is an indie rock band based in Beijing, consisting of members addicted to garage rock, oriental psychedelic, Texas blues and soul music separately. The band is skilled in constructing bizarre scenes by sound experiment and paronomasia. At the beginning of 2021, they released their first DIY album Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome, inspired by Kenneth Anger's namesake movie--all about the absurd observations and the projection of dreams.
