Berlin’s live-electronic visionaries GHEIST join forces with Ukraine’s melodic house prodigy 8Kays for Flowers & Guns, a collaboration that blurs the lines between indie dance and progressive house. Following GHEIST’s Searching Places EP, which drew acclaim for its original tracks and remixes from Mark Hoffen, Oliver Koletzki, and Unfazed, this partnership marks a new chapter of artistic synergy.

"This track is the most special one for me so far," shares 8Kays. "It was born from hearing a spectacular and profound idea from GHEIST, which immediately inspired me to start working on it, incorporating a live piano performance and the arrangement I wanted to embrace with the sound I produced. Later, GHEIST shaped the project into the final version we hear today: a tender and emotionally deep piece of music that I am truly grateful to be part of."

Flowers & Guns merges GHEIST’s textured, dramaturgically rich electronic approach with 8Kays’ signature melodic depth and eloborate arrangements, weaving shimmering synths, rounded basslines, and live piano into a soundscape both expansive and intimate. Each artist’s hallmark - GHEIST’s cinematic layering and tension-driven structures, and 8Kays’ emotive, harmonically adventurous touch, interlocks seamlessly, creating a track where every rhythm, chord, and crescendo feels deliberate and deeply expressive.

Lyrically, the song is both bold and poetic, with lines like “Hand me a bullet / I bring you flowers and the sun” blending raw intensity with vivid imagery. The result is a track that captivates both the dancefloor and reflective listening sessions, equally at home in euphoric club moments, late-summer farewells, or personal playlists that demand emotional depth.

With Flowers & Guns, GHEIST and 8Kays demonstrate how collaboration can transform individual vision into something greater: an electronic anthem that is as heartfelt as it is electrifying.

We have been following the good work of Ira all this time and we can say now that she has changed his status from promising to proven talent. 'System #85' is the name of this forward-thinking EP including three original tracks plus a solid remix by exciting and also well-known in our label ANII.
Centauri is a super special journey to a different galaxy that shows the exquisite synths treatment of the Kyiv artist. It's pure electronic music. Polish dj and producer ANII takes the original to the club stage keeping the essence and adding a tasteful acid flavour.
On the next chapter, 8Kays meets Pongo for the secret weapon of the pack presenting a powerful and timeless vocal piece: I'm Done.
NI27 closes the fireworks with a futuristic and a hypnotic vision of the electronic club-oriented music; the composition keeps the tension along the way with some surprising and innovative synths.
