Hunt Like Lions is the first EP by the Berlin-based two-piece band, RÁN.
Scheduled for release Nov. 13, 2017 on 8MM Musik.
Founded in early 2017 by  Laura Landergott (Ja, Panik, Mile Me Deaf) and Yair Karelic (Mystical Communication Services, Shambhu and the True Love Hearts), they began their collaboration creating new material, as well as adapting previous, un-released solo work to become RÁN. Comprised of dual vocals and two live guitars, these multi-instrumentalists also underlay a patchwork of indierock, blues, psych to complete their sound. Entirely self-written and self-produced, all songs on the EP are an expression of both personal and fictional experiences. Often portraying sexual, dramatic and cinematographic content.
The title track of the EP "Hunt Like Lions“ is their first single. It addresses searching for motivation and finding focus and determination through female empowerment. Showcasing strong women both behind and in front of the camera, the accompanying music video was filmed in three days across various locations in Berlin. Directed by Inga Turczyn and filmed by Line Kühl, it features fire, horses and a cast of 30 fierce females. Edited by the acclaimed music video editor Bobby Good (RAMMSTEIN, Pete Doherty, Moby).
