Tami aka DJ Tamboi is a community organiser, activist and artist based in Glasgow. They're part of the Absolutely Flawless Mobile Sound System, creating queer dancefloor utopias in temporal space. Their radish mix will give a flavour of sound they play at free parties, protests and political festival takeovers at Sistxrhood, Glastonbury as well as Kelburn.

🎤 Radish Report: Gaza border protest 

Sderot, Gaza-Israel border, 23 May 2025

Today Israelis and Palestinians gathered by the Gaza border to protest against the ongoing genocide and forced starvation of the people of Gaza.

The protest took place near Sderot, one of the towns infiltrated by Hamas on October 7 2023. 

Radish Radio’s Ya’ara was at the scene to send us her report, and to gather reflections, particularly from anti-genocide Israelis joining the protest, to understand how sentiment is changing, and why this protest is significant.

“Raising a voice against injustice and raising a voice for life… it’s my duty as a person who lives here to raise a voice against war crimes especially if they are done by my government in my name.” -Israeli protester.
