Ever since day one 909 Festival has gone above and beyond to put together a well-balanced musical program. Playing a major part since the early beginnings have been three simple basics; celebrating the pioneers, inviting fresh quality artists and supporting the locals.

I want to share the first hour of my final set at Watergate. It was an unforgettable 7-hour journey, overflowing with endless emotions. As my recorded only worked for the first hour, I hope those moments will remain etched in the hearts of everyone who was there, just as they will in mine.

Goodbye, Watergate—it’s been an absolute honour to play for you all these years. You will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will miss you dearly!
