Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has joined forces with long-term collaborator Ginger on new single ‘Spicy’, out 2nd April via Ultra.
A melodic techno track that’s fizzing with refined dancefloor energy, ‘Spicy’ combines driving snares, delicate piano chords and Ginger’s fleeting vocals as it gracefully builds in intensity throughout. The track marks the first in a line of singles planned throughout the rest of 2021, culminating in the release of Boris Brejcha’s new album in November.

Walking moments is HMWL debut by Dubai based ADHM, a rapidly emerging artist known for his melodically instrumental sounds that mostly fall on the deeper side. His multicultural background is always portrayed as a mystical journey made by hypnotic grooves, harmonies and beats, his style encompasses the deeper and groovier end of house. From an early age he was heavily influenced by music and how it can take the listener on an ethereal and often melancholic journey.

On the remix duty are El Mundo & Zazou two of the main protagonists of Berlin’s Deep House and Rave scene. Walking moments was inspired by a turning point in my life. After a long and stable pharmaceutical path, I rerouted my journey following the stressful Covid times. This lead me to leaving Canada altogether and empowered me to explore new parts of the globe that are closer to my roots yet paired with a foreign flare, which then landed me in Dubai. 'Swedish tastemaker label House Music With Love kicks off 2023 with Brighter Days. It is a superb Winter Sampler which celebrates one month since the Winter Solstice, the darkest night of the year, and signifies the move towards spring and summer not too far away.

This fine compilation gathers five melodic and organic house tracks to get you warmed up and ready for the year ahead. Weekend Heroes from Israel, the duo behind Anjunabeats Top 1 selling track "Left to hide", kick off with the smooth electro inspired U Remind Me. Moroccan artist Touzani teams up with Sofiya Nzau - who is Kenya’s fastest rising vocalist of 2022 - for the brilliantly organic and moving Afro house gem Ouria Deka complete with Swahili vocals.

Tel Aviv’s triple tag team of Laroz from Diynamic and this label, plus Badani & Gidor, all come together for the organic house banger Gunie complete with hypnotic drums and mesmerising Afrikaans chants. Following a successful year of releases and gigs South African rising talent Jordan Arts debut’s on Swedish label House Music With Love with his EP Don’t Look back Jordan Arts has found great success this year with releases on Zehn Records, Purified Records, Steyoyoke and now with Swedish tastemakers House Music With Love. Dreaming is about appreciating each day as if it were you last, all we have is today, so we need to make the most of it. Jordan, equipped with his saxophone, guitar and synthesizers has seen much success with his live show, opening for acts such as Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure & Oliver Schories but this is only the beginning for the artist who has been featured in Mixmag Caribbean’s September edition. With support from the likes of Black Coffee who featured Jordan’s collaboration with Africa Deep in his “tribute to Virigl” mix on Spotify. It is clear that the 25-year-old has a bright future ahead of him in electronic music. Remix duties come from german All Day I Dream artists Flowers on Monday.

90watts was founded by Jeroen van Meeteren and Giorgio Schultz in 1997 and over the years has become a household name in the electronic music landscape. After a period of inactivity between 2012 and 2017, the label was purchased by Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music record company and re-launched as his imprint for timeless club- and DJ friendly house music. Per late 2022 the label received a fresh overhaul once again with the focus shifting slightly more to the organic side of (deep) house music.
