The Shaded Tint tape tells a story even down to the release date. After the death of several family members in just a short amount of time I lost my actual thought process in grief. I spent years on a journey away from home and found myself in Slum Punk. My childhood was not easy either. I developed the mindset of "no one actually loved me, they just tolerate me". But I had to think deeper and dig deeper to find out why something like that would build inside of me. Times got harder before they got better. So literally surviving my sickness was on my mind just as much as watching out for cars in a busy street that you have to cross daily. 

Parties, long night drives alone, listening to sounds in different places, and rediscovering what I actually enjoyed about life was all a part of this journey. Praying, working, smoking a ton of marijuana and jogging at night to decompress myself. This would often times be the motions. What I did to survive and build would be seen after.

B.R.A.$.$ aka King T.R.U is well known in multiple regions for his intense vocals, changing rhythms & various topic choices. B.R.A.$.$. released his first solo project, The King Speaks EP, in 2017. He's released multiple music videos, singles and a fourth EP, The King Speaks 4 (2019), since then.

In 2020 B.R.A.$.$. has released the singles "OnlyFans" and "Slum Punk", which is now, along with all of his music, available on all major streaming platforms.
