ABOUT “ELECTROCITY / FLOOR EP”
This 2 track EP by Emre Turkes deports you into two worlds. Electrocity is a song that draws attention to the nightlife in cities illuminated by electricity and the fast pace and technology of modern life. Reflected with live played electronic instruments and sounds.

While Floor, emphasizes the connection between humans and the earth which represents the desire for nature and the connection to it. The word "floor" is generally used to mean the ground, base or surface. Expect deep house sounds that bring calmness, relaxation to your ears with a delightful vocal.


Electrocity:
This piece draws attention to the nightlife in cities illuminated by electricity and the fast pace and technology of modern life. It also draws attention to people's dependence on devices and technological tools that operate with electric energy.
Moreover, it reflects how important modern technology and electric energy play a role in human life. Technological tools and devices that make our lives easier have become an integral part of our daily lives. In this piece, I emphasize people's addiction to technology and the fast pace of modern life.
At the same time, this fast-paced lifestyle makes it difficult to observe stars and other natural events. What causes people to lose their connection to nature. The impact on human life can be seen as a duality. As electricity consumption increases, so does the disconnection from nature.


EMRE TURKES
Emre, born in 1989 in Sivas studied music at the age of 16 years. Nowadays, playing multiple instruments such as guitar, saxophone, clarinet, drums and synthesizer. He is drawn to Physics, Philosophy and finds his inspiration in Nature, the New Orleans Jazz Sound, Classic music and Psy Tech. 
He sure has a unique vision of what music means to him and this is noticed in his productions. Emre’s focus lies on organic elements and sounds that range from down tempo to deep house and a more techno driven sound.

Emre Turkes: I only have one motivation. My art is the product of a seeks the discovery of what has yet to be discovered. I like to work on different sounds all the time and go out the ordinary
