ABOUT “ELECTROCITY/FLOOR EP”
This 2 track EP by Emre Turkes deports you into two worlds. Electrocity is a song that draws attention to the nightlife in cities illuminated by electricity and the fast pace and technology of modern life. Reflected with live played electronic instruments and sounds.

While Floor, emphasizes the connection between humans and the earth which represents the desire for nature and the connection to it. The word "floor" is generally used to mean the ground, base or surface. Expect deep house sounds that bring calmness, relaxation to your ears with a delightful vocal.

Floor:
The word "floor" is generally used to mean the ground, base or surface. However, what I want to emphasize is the connection between humans and the earth that the  "floor" represents. In this context, "floor" means the place beneath our feet and represents the relationship between humans and the earth. Furthermore, people's longing for nature and the natural environment has increased due to modern lifestyle. Therefore, "floor" also represents the desire for nature and the connection to it.
One of the meanings of the  "floor" in music is dance floor in places such as parties or nightclubs. In this context, the  "floor" also means to dance, move and stay in tune with the music. Another meaning is the connection between the rhythm of the music and the people who dance with the energy created by the music. In this context, "floor" means the surface that the dancers feet touch, giving them power and energy.
Therefore, I aim to convey a message about people staying connected to the music and dancing with energy, using the word "floor" that is commonly used in dance music, such as electronic or house music.

EMRE TURKES
Emre, born in 1989 in Sivas studied music at the age of 16 years. Nowadays, playing multiple instruments such as guitar, saxophone, clarinet, drums and synthesizer. He is drawn to Physics, Philosophy and finds his inspiration in Nature, the New Orleans Jazz Sound, Classic music and Psy Tech. 
He sure has a unique vision of what music means to him and this is noticed in his productions. Emre’s focus lies on organic elements and sounds that range from down tempo to deep house and a more techno driven sound.

Emre Turkes: I only have one motivation. My art is the product of a seeks the discovery of what has yet to be discovered. I like to work on different sounds all the time and go out the ordinary.
