The track was inspired by my constant frustration of being perceived a certain way, usually because of my appearance. And no matter how many times I try and start over in a new group trying to present myself uniquely, it always ends up similarly where different people who don't know each other describe me with the same words which makes me feel like someone I don't want to be.
