Sometimes happen that emotions drive us in places where only immagination is the real protagonist, with feelings that moves you no matter how relaxing or anxious they may be.

This happened when we were asked to compose an original soundtrack for a video pretty unique in its genre, with a stunning, photo-realistic computer graphic and capable to inject you harmony and sadness at the same time.
With that video, partially in slow motion and partially focused on the action, the client asked for us for a classical and vocal composition inspired by the musical current of the 50s and 60s.
We had the opportunity to collaborate with a talented singer who sang our own lyrics, and with our reliable musicians to record a real small string ensemble, embellished by a woodwinds quartet.

Making a song like this wasn’t at all an easy task, but the emotions that arose from the movie helped us composing it with a constant inspiration.

What we love in a trailer soundtrack making process is that kind of “mood sonorization”, something like a sound research over the silent and muted actions flowing through the movie.
For this cinematographic trailer we faced the challenge of a movie-oriented composition style, expecially for the very first part where the action is driven only by the strings session of the virtual orchestra, made to underline that sense of sorrow of the black and white planes in slow motion.
When the trailer turns to colors we also shifted the composition, adding some “modern” elements to the track like arpeggiators and synthesizers. 
That electronic sound carpet, underneath a rich orchestra helped by a lead string session and some big electric guitars, made the action more palpable and engaging.

To celebrate an Anniversary is always something special...imagine a Tank's one!
For this very important trailer made for the acclaimed franchise “World Of Tanks” we were asked to write a composition able to replicate the players feelings during an online battle.
“Yeah Baby!” was the key sentence, and we tried to achieve that with a huge and deep rock-metal band style song.
With that in mind, four distorted electric guitars has been recorded, with an electric bass and a live metal drumset as well.
To keep the whole action going, we also put some electronic elements (mostly huge metallic kicks and drums) over the recorded instruments. This helped a lot expecially in the very first part, where the action is all setted into a forge.
But we wanted something more, and if we had to celebrate WoT, why don't record a punchy metal voice at the end of the track?
Thanks to an aggressive male voice and stunning lyrics we achieved our goal.

World of Tanks Endless War Trailer Soundtrack

This track was made for the E3 Conference, to show this brand new title for the Xbox 360.
In the beginning the track is soft, and little by little it becomes more relevant until the scene of the tank is complete ( 0' 47'').
After the "Green Tank" the song change and become more powerful and aggressive.

In the very beginning we combined 2 different kind of guitars riffs to make a feeling of wait, with 2 different kind of sounds.
In conjunction with the guitars there are synths too, to tie everything to create a unique mood.

When the view of the tank is complete and it starts the engine, the soundtrack explodes in a rock-industrial song: here the drums start to play with the bass and guitars.
To make the song not repetitive we though the whole track in 5/4.
At 1' 07'' we had insert a guitar solo making the same riff of the beginning of the track: we made it to create a  sense of uniqueness, including an innovation input.
