Having developed over the years and drawing from expansive British and European influences alike, Thodén gravitates sonically around stripped and non-linear experimentations in club-and-adjacent music. Neither foregoing in character nor lacking in affective energy, his is an effort towards intrigue, often suffuse with washed out sonics, subdued temporal variations, and off-kilter rhythmic structures.

Hitting with another trip!

This time Emilia invited Madrid finest TRUGLUT, dj and producer, full-time digger, extremely sweet human being and member of Eigenblau Collective. 

For this trip Truglut has prepared an impeccable selection, full of textures and atmospheres that soothe the soul, ending with accelerated broken beats that take you to a state of trance. A little cave to take refuge on rainy afternoons but also a walk by the sea with the sun hitting you in the face. 

This mix starts like waking up from a dream to enter an infinite wormhole, an alarm clock that takes you out of a dreamlike universe to take you to another one.

During this journey of just over two hours, you can walk through all the low end sounds of dub to dive into the blue pools of a drum and bass that is more like a druid and bass.

The selection of this mix is incredible, with a perfect cohesion of textures that embrace you as if in every climax you were coming home.

Thanks for this mix, Jose, it gives us goosebumps every single time.

At the edge of modern psy techno and tribe infused music, Marco Maldarella dwells into bottomless abyss with his fast paced sound signature. Devoted to a purely minimalistic aesthetic, Marco brings the high definition IDM glitch into a deep post tribe experience.

Not only being a very talented and promising producer with his solo project, Marco is also active in the duo MARMO together with Christian Duke, where they focus on live performances ranging from experimental electronica to left-field/off-kilter techno. 

Last but not least, Marco will release his debut solo EP on the mighty @omenwapta, with high promises of wormhole dwelling beats.

Monochrome presents, 𝖕𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖒𝖕𝖘 𝖑𝓥 : Trois-Quarts Taxi System, De la je l’espère.

This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Co-founder of the Hard Love Motor Love label and the De la je l'espère collective, Trois-Quarts Taxi System is a Parisian producer and DJ whose work falls somewhere between bass music, jungle and deep techno.
 
Whether live or in a DJ set, his singular approach to music allows him to navigate between dark sounds with complex rhythms and hypnotic melodies accompanied by organic textures. He takes us into his world, releasing tracks on labels such as Matière, Typeless, Bait and Blue Night Jungle, where he never ceases to surprise us with his unstructured rhythms and contemplative layers drawing on idm, electronica, trip-hop, break and ambient.
