Following on from fellow Hot Creations founder Jamie Jones is Lee Foss featuring Camille Safiya with ‘The Gift EP’ on their Emerald City imprint. The package includes remixes from Sonny Fodera, Lee Curtiss and Detlef, who all champion the globally recognised Hot Creations sound. 
 
“The gift started as a poem for my girlfriend and an instrumental a couple years ago but adding Camille to the equation really brought the song to life. Her voice gave it the magic I was hearing in my head. All the remixes are amazing, I'm super excited about this release”. Lee Foss 
 
Music heavyweight Lee Foss serves up a Summertime classic with an infectious bassline that perfectly accompanies Camille’s luscious vocals. It wouldn’t be an Emerald City release without the wonky electronic wobbles that are sporadically placed throughout. 

First up on remix duty is UK born Sonny Fodera who’s remix is perfect for the imminent festival season, with an energy that will generate damage on any dance floor. Michigan born Lee Curtiss is up next and adds his signature groove-drenched synths. Closing the package is the hottest name to recently have come out of Greece, Detlef, with a remix that skilfully strips things back into a track made for the early hours.

Lee Foss is globally recognised as a pioneer within the underground music scene and rightly so after signing artists such as Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Mark Jenkyns and Nathan Barato to name but a few. He also regularly joins forces with Jamie Jones, Luca C and Ali Love to form super-group Hot Natured.

Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, the Swiss duo recording and performing as Adriatique, sign the third Afterlife release of 2018, ‘Ray’. The two-track single follows their remix of Tale Of Us & Vaal’s ‘Monument’ in 2017, and marks the beginning of Adriatique’s own journey with Afterlife Recordings.

We first heard of ‘Ray’ in Tale Of Us’ sublime fabric 97 CD, where its soaring melody ended the mix on a euphoric high. It stands out as a scintillating dancefloor composition, whose lead synth line will no-doubt create many memorable dancefloor moments. ‘Voices From The Dawn’ takes a more subtle approach to the same thrilling effect. Driven by the rolling beats, it reveals itself sporadically in spirited surges of life.

These two tracks not only show the range of Adriatique’s production focus, but show them to be highly-accomplished whether making hypnotic, peak-time grooves or epic songs for the end of the night.

In-demand producer Flashmob delivers a masterful two-piece assault on his Hot Creations debut, entitled The Lone Brazilian.

The EP opens with the title track, fronting a funk-laden bassline and percussive, driving drums. Tribalistic male and female chants break the track up, adding depth to the unfolding journey. Next up, Lower Level supplies a deeper trip. A tight, assertive drum track counterparts a short, wandering bassline to form a settled, rolling feel.

Italian artist Flashmob, real name Alessandro Magani, is a renowned producer and remixer, label owner and touring DJ. Since 2011 he’s released on the world’s biggest labels, such as Get Physical, Defected, Kompakt, Snatch!, to name a few, and now delivers his bespoke sound for Hot Creations.

This May sees Climbers & Teddy Wong collaborate on a moody single entitled 'It's All About House EP', featuring remixes from Haze-M, Ekai & Baum, Recalde and Andre VII.

Over the last couple of years, Mexico's Climbers has been releasing on Get Physical, Bunny Tiger, and Turbo, not to mention touring the globe playing shows in Europe, North America and South America. Meanwhile, fellow compatriot and RNGDS Music founder Teddy Wong has been making his mark with releases on Desert Hearts and Monotonik. Joining them on remix duties is Tunisian artist and Haze Music boss Haze-M, a collaboration between VIVa's Ekai and ElRow's Baum, Lost Beach Club resident Recalde and Platino founder Andre VII.

'It's All About House' opens with rattling drums before a booming bassline and tantalizing synths join a murky male vocal, leading into the rhythmic Haze-M remix with its menacing synth that evolves into floating melodies. Next up, Ekai & Baum's remix is an all-out acid roller, leading into deeper territories with Recalde's percussive and twisted remix until Andre VII's syncopated version chops up the lyrics until they're almost unrecognizable.
