I wrote Pissed at the World to really put myself on the spot and force myself to feel all of the negativity that I had been ignoring, and ultimately power through it. It made me realize that even though everything on my shoulders felt like a lot, picking each thing off one by one, and forcing myself to feel the emotions that every one of them radiated made them all feel a lot more manageable. Perfecting this song from start to finish - from just a thought in my head, to writing it all out, recording, mixing, and mastering - really made me feel stronger and more powerful by the end.
