Splore Sunday Spaced out closing session

In association with Auckland Redbull Studios and New Zealand soul royalty Ladi6. Skebengo brings you their first release as one of New Zealands first Kwaito duo. 

Rebull Studios had provided the acapella  for Ladi6's Royal Blue, originally produced by New Zealand beatmaking royalty Brandon Haru.

The acapella had been through at least 5 different versions before deciding that composer and writer Kurt Murray wanted to take this back to the motherland. Afriikah!

The track is a journey into the deep vibrations of Kwazulu- Natal (Durban) with elements of Gqom. The song was produced and mastered by Kurt Murray on Logic Pro X from the 28th of July - 1st August.

We hope you can appreciate this New Zealand and South African musical mash up as much as we do.
