Disquiet Junto Project 0556: Gabber Ambient
The Assignment: Field-test a hybrid genre.

I started with a 200 bpm Kickdrum in Live. It seemed to be enough for some minutes. I added a lot of things, just to not be lazy. From there I went one by feeling. It was basically a loop with minimal variations when I exported stems and recut the track in Reaper by destroying a lot of things. I am really neither a fan of Kickdrums nor from bpms faster than 90, but after all I liked the track.

John Whitehead discusses the Deep State (the 7th Floor Group) and how the future of America and the world will become everything the great science fiction writers have prophesied. The collapse of the United States is akin to the collapse of the Roman Empire where we could very well see people being taken away and put to death. The coming of Singularity in 2029 and takeover of AI is very likely. We are very similar to Nazi Germany, the police state is expanding, and people need to get up and get active in their governments. About John Whitehead
John Whitehead is an attorney and author who has written, debated and practiced widely in the area of constitutional law, human rights and popular culture. Widely recognized as one of the nation’s most vocal and involved civil liberties attorneys, Whitehead’s approach to civil liberties issues has earned him numerous accolades and accomplishments.

Whitehead’s concern for the persecuted and oppressed led him, in 1982, to establish The Rutherford Institute, a nonprofit civil liberties and human rights organization located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Whitehead has filed numerous amicus briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court, has been co-counsel in several landmark Supreme Court cases and continues to champion the freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights in and out of the courts.

John Whitehead: The Future Is Everything the Science Fiction Writers Have Prophesied #329

Michael Parenti has said that "Poor countries are not 'under-developed', they are over-exploited." The west tends to look down on the rest of the world for reasons that either directly or indirectly relate to the poverty in those nations, which is silly because that poverty comes largely from western theft and exploitation. It's like mugging someone and then scorning them for their empty wallet.

If you boil it right down and get real about it, most of the pride in western civilization is ultimately pride in being better at killing and stealing than other people. We're still morally at the level of invading and plundering nations while claiming it's justified because we are stronger than them, it's just procedurally a few clicks removed from doing that directly.

Robbing The Global South, Then Scorning Its Poverty

This track started from a newspaper article (published in November 1973 in my home country). I processed it through a text-to-speech software and use it as a base to improvise melodies and rhythms. I then extracted elements that I liked and arranged them into the final piece.

The goal was to make the voice less audible as the track progresses. To achieve this, I used different set of effects on each sections of the track.
