99 Percent Nice marks a new milestone with our first artist EP, a four-track statement from Brazilian-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and label foreman Fi-Lo, a mischievous architect of colorful grooves and twisted club tools. Released today, this record opens a fresh chapter for us.

With music on Alphaville Records, Noisy Neighbours, and his own Jobsite Records, Fi-Lo has been carving out a sound built on tech-house swing, acid twists, breakbeat punch, and sun-kissed atmospheres. His debut on 99PN captures that palette in a playful, tightly crafted club record: slinky rhythms, bright hues, and the perfect dose of controlled chaos.

Across four tracks, Fi-Lo guides us through different shades of his universe, from lean, functional tools to playful party cuts, each one charged with his warm groove sensibility and lifelong love of bossa nova, salsa, and funk. It’s club music with personality, precision, and a grin, and we’re proud to share it with you. To many, his sound carries a simple reminder: never take things too seriously.

To celebrate the release, we’re gathering tomorrow at Gilda Club Madrid. As always, we come together with the artists who share their art with us, and Fi-Lo will be conducting the night. Join us for a 6 hours of absolute mischief, rhythm, and community as we toast the EP and the growing 99PN family.

99 Percent Nice continues with our second artist EP, a four-track release from Valencian artist Gato, a DJ and selector from Benicàssim, currently based in Madrid. Montanejos marks his first EP release, following his debut on 99 Percent Nice’s first digital VA, and opens a new chapter for both sides.

With roots in the Hip-Hop and Funk scene, Gato has transformed that foundation into a fresh and distinctive approach to electronic music. His connection to sound began at home, inspired by his mother’s diverse musical taste, and later deepened in Valencia, where the legendary Oven Club introduced him to the underground scene and helped shape his sonic identity.

Now based in Madrid, the young artist has been carving out a name across the city’s dance floors with a signature sound that is minimalist, groovy, and hypnotic — built for immersion and motion. Across four tracks, Montanejos delivers playful house warmers that feel fun and simple on the surface, yet surprisingly deep underneath. Music designed for patient, long dances and warm rooms. Gato is another reminder not to take things too seriously, and we value this approach where less is more.

To celebrate the release, we gather at Gilda Club tonight, 19.12, where Gato will narrate the night in a 6-hour B2B with Le Nomad. A long-form journey of hypnotic, deep, and funky miaows — the perfect setting to welcome Montanejos to 99 Percent Nice.

Rodrigue Darbon is a young French DJ, producer, and friend who’s been developing his sound between Paris and Madrid. Formerly known as Garçon, and a member of Taxi Drivers and the WonderKidz collective, he now delivers the very first edition of our “Slice Of Nice” guest mix series on 99 Percent Nice. If you’ve followed our releases or come to our parties, you’ve probably seen or heard him.
