Last Light

This song, by Luisa Sobral was originally in Portugese and won the European Song Contest in 2017 when it was sung by her brother Salvador. His voice is an unusual falsetto whereas in this version I am exploring my baritone register. The English translation is taken from a version by Jim Van Der Zee.

Love For Us Both

Hi, I started posting stuff when I recorded some classical piano pieces for my parents(classical musicians will recognise that some of it was pretty poor).
I'm now retired and my parents are now gone, so music is now part of my retirement plan. I want to improve my piano, learn to sing and master the technology required to record and publish music. For me it's about learning, having fun and sharing what I do with my friends (even if it makes them cringe hehe). I have no pretensions. I hope you like what I post and provide feedback. I hope also that my posts are a record of my musical journey and that I improve as I go.
As of Oct 2017 I've started singing lessons with a Musical Theatre Professional, so expect some songs of that genre mixed in with other bits.
