L'addition sauvage des sons d'usines mêlés aux rythmes de production des plus grosses fabriques. Une course révoltée pour que Manu paie la fracture. Des variations intenses pour faire crier les murs. Un gros coup de doc dans la haute-cour et un coup de broche dans le billet. Les grands-prêtres n'ont qu'à bien se tenir, aujourd'hui, ce sont AFC, The Black Anther, Random Virtual Reality, Akkurad et Setokaib qui prêchent la bonne parole.

Este Ep se caracteriza por tener kicks profundos con texturas que van evolucionando a medida que va avanzando cada canción. Momentos de angustia, incertidumbre e incomodidad son sensaciones que lo describirán. Somos seres que necesitan de la pista de baile para sacarnos de lo desagradable que es, Una mala racha !

No nonsense French label Zone Records is back with another rugged techno four tracker, this time from close associate and well established production talent Maelstrom.

Opening up this EP is ‘Densil,’ the dark, textural broken techno track that has harsh claps, urgent siren sounds and a real sense of industrialism in its turbulent groove. ‘Fission’ is a more traditional acid track with gurgling 303 lines bubbling away above firmly planted, insistent kicks. Late night twinkles and a subtle paranoia characterise the murky atmospheres and it doesn't take much to imagine this one doing plenty of damage in the club.
The perfectly occult ‘Optical Tendencies’ is another experimental affair with lumpy drums, pixel thin synth patterns and more grumbling industrial fills. It is dystopian and dark, absorbing and brilliantly machine made. Lastly, the excellent ‘Oxy Blur’ has sluggish bass, swampy sounds and corrugated synths all slowly trudging along as pained stabs and bleak pads all add to the soot black intensity of it all.
This is smoky machine music for those with a penchant for post punk and a soft spot for the spikier end of the techno spectrum.

DISCOS ATÓNICOS proudly presents the label’s second release: Age of Aggression by BS-1. This new record was produced by Dutch veteran Roland van Oorschot aka BS–1. Growing up, he listened to bands like Slayer, Fear Factory and Anthrax, which formed his musical education and continues to impact his productions. Producing and experimenting since the mid 1990s, van Oorschot has been a long time fixture in the electronic music world. He has created many projects over the years including Funxiun, Utroid and the previously mentioned BS-1. You can find his unique tracks on various labels including Marguerita Recordings and Gooiland Elektro.
For Discos Atónicos he made the Age Of Aggression EP, featuring 5 massive electro cuts that are a straight shot to the dance floor.

The new FEMUR release features the Swiss duo SAVAGE GROUNDS, agents of a dirty, raw and miserable sound. “Es un flash electrónico” is a true exercise of proximity and freshness combining mid-tempo landscapeses with stimulating accelerated bursts. The release consists of 3 original tracks and a remix by Esplendor Geométrico, which elevates the original called “Última línea” to another dimension.

The barbed wire fence stretched far into the distance, its razor sharp metal spikes protruding in all angles. Across its mass bright yellow signs warned of the punishment that awaited those who tried to cross this border. But this barricade hadn't always been here. It had once been an open stretch of land with those inhabitants on both sides living peacefully alongside one another. Now things were different, something sinister had taken over.

Three years after their first Surviving in Europe compilation, Italian label She Lost Kontrol are gearing up for the release of the second volume. A snapshot of the sounds, styles and artists that are central to the label, the 20-track LP features contributions from the likes of Piska Power, Autumns, Bind Delon & Black Egg, Kris Baha, Zarkoff and our pick from Savage Grounds, the Swiss producer whose EBM and Industrial-leaning productions have graced labels like Lux Rec, Pinkman and Mosaique. The full project comes with a risograph-printed fanzine and a c90 transparent cassette.

Zone welcomes CT Kidobó to the label this February, as he prepares to release the first instalment of
‘Impulse & Inhibition’.
Budapest-based DJ and producer CT Kidobó has been experimenting with electronic music for the last
decade, releasing early material on Molecule’s Mille Feuilles imprint under his Das Model moniker and
gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jimmy Edgar and Arnaud Rebotini. The last few years
have seen his CT Kidobo project appear on the likes of Earth Plates and Dalmata Daniel with an obviously
growing appetite for his uniquely evocative productions. As a DJ his reputation is ever expanding and in his
native Hungary he has shared the stage with the like of Kevin Saunderson, Cardopusher, Textasy and
Gnork.
Now CT Kidobo joins forces with the ever-excellent Zone label from Paris for a four track Ep orientated
around a laidback, daytime sound, with plans for a darker, ‘sounds of the night’ chapter planned for the
months ahead. The electrifying opener ‘Bipolar’ is a deep and alluring affair, fueled by bright synth lines,
warm bass sequences and enchanting vocals, which all come together for this uplifting gem. Next up, ‘Death
of Postmodernism’ lowers the tempo and pairs distorted frequencies with sparkling effects and hypnotic
percussion. ‘Paris’ unveils a nostalgic driven slice of electronic music, as we see CT Kidobó work euphoric
chords against brooding electro rhythms and blissful sonics. To close, the cutting edge ‘Vertigo’ is an
infectious and exhilarating cut which showcases yet another side to his diverse and extensive sound.
CT Kidobo’s ‘Impulse & Inhibitions - Part 1’ drops on Zone on 18th February.
